I have tests that require me to handle file download dialogues, all works fine if I am automating the clicking of Cancel but although the recorder records the click of Save and the destination to save the pdf to, when I replay the test it will not click the Save button on the download dialogue. I have altered settings to uncheck 'close after download' but this doesnt help and only adds more problems. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hello Darren,
under what browser is this issue occurring?

Can you provide a sample demonstrating this issue? Also, a Fiddler trace might also be useful:

I have the files requested and zipped up but they exceed the max allowed. How would you like me to get them to you?

    Hello Darren,

I've shared a Dropbox folder named DarrenKnight where you can place the files you are trying to send. Please check your email and accept my request when convenient. You can also update this ticket when done just for our reference.

    Thank you.

Looking forward to hear from you.

    Hello Darren,

I've checked the dropbox folder, however it appears as empty (refer to the screenshot attached).

    Please advise.

    Hello Darren,

I have reviewed the video and I can see that the Test Studio doesn't handle the dialog window, however I was not able to reproduce it on my side. We will need to see the Test Log to investigate further. Also please make sure your browser is configured correctly and pay attention on the downloads section and make sure File download and Automatic prompting for file downloads are enabled under the Downloads header in Security Settings:

    http://www.telerik.com/automated-testing-tools/support/documentation/user-guide/configure-your-browser/internet-explorer.aspx

The other option is to provide us with access to your application, if possible, so we can reproduce and investigate this problem.
