FileUpload Dialog problem

    Hi,

    I have this issue with generating Dialogs in tests where I use only Steps (not coded steps).

    My problem is when Dialog window is detected and I'm trying to click upload button in dialog window, so Telerik always generate "generic' dialog step. I think there is a problem with language in my windows (Czech), because Telerik can work only with English version of Windows.

    Although I can edit 'generic' dialog step and change 'DialogTitle' to my language, but I can't edit FileUpload path.

    Another possible way is to generate Dialog step in Telerik Test Studio and choose Upload dialog, but there I can't change 'HandleButton' and automatic test can't find your predefined buttons. 

    Of course I could to change the step in coded step, but coded step are banned in my tests.

    So my questions are.
    Is there any possible way, how to correctly detect right button for me?
    Are you going to implement some updates in next version?

    I'm sorry there is maybe problem with mi old version and its features including Dialog handling (R1 2012 SP1 - 2012.1.528).

    I will update to newer version and let you know, if my problem stays.

    Hi Dave,

    Sounds good. We'll stand by to help out if you're having any trouble getting this to work. The latest version of Test Studio(v.2012.2.1022) contains hundreds of bug fixes and optimizations since our 2012.1.528 release. You can download it from your Telerik.com account. 

    If the problem persists with our latest release, please provide access to your application so we can reproduce the issue locally and try to determine what is causing it. The Export Result to File feature from the Step Failure Details will be also a good place to start if direct access to the app is not possible.

    I upgraded my version of Telerik Studio and it solved my problem!
