When i save a manual test result by using "reset results" ("save results" i can not use since i do not now where the result is saved...), then open the test result file (in the result viewer), then doubleclick on an individual test case, i receive the following error.
(I am adding a screenshot to the test case while manual testing, but it seems there is no information stored on a test case level besides pass/fail)
Any help available?

Hi Walter,
it seem you forgot to attach the screenshot. I could not reproduce the issue you're describing: on my end I was able to save and review the results by using "Reset results". Could you please record a video demonstrating this issue so that we may review it and easily get a local repro. Jing is a great piece of software for desktop recording.

I agree with you - the "Save&Close" button is a bit of an enigma at the moment. It seems that the idea behind it is to simply close the Window. I could not tell the difference between hitting "Save&Close" and simply hitting the "x" to close the page. I've logged this a Feature Request:

Hi Stoich,

thank you for your answer.
As it seems the error had to do with the fact that we had no scheduling server running at the time i was testing the manual tests.
After the scheduling service is running i can doubleclick on a test case (snap5) of the saved result file and nothing happens, no error.
But shouldnt i see some details of the test, like the screenshot that i attached to step 3?

Maybe i dont understand the concept of the manual tests itself, but so far i was only able to get test results if i run the test in a list, and publish it to the scheduling server.
But what is the results viewer and the ability to save and open the result file than for?
Attached the chronological screenshots.

Thank you for your help.
Walter

Hi Walter,
I'm honestly not sure what you're doing. Could you record a video demonstrating your approach.
I can see from screenshot 5 that your test steps are listed as "not executed"

Here's a video demonstrating how I create and open a test with a screenshot:
