Hi,

The problem which I was facing in the script is that Telerik could not record the key press functionality ,therefore to capture that function we customized the script of that step in C#. The customized line is mentioned below:

Manager.Desktop.KeyBoard.SendString("n");

 

This customized Telerik script works fine local environment where the script was created but does not work in the other machine/Location.

Hi NKG,
   please give me more details on this. Does the piece of code fail to compile on other machines? Or it appears to run fine but doesn't do what it's supposed to do, please clarify.

Hi Stoich

The Script that contain the Customised code step is not running at all. We click on execute button but nothing happens.

Hello NKG,
   isn't there a compilation error as seen in screenshot 1?

If so click on "Log" and past the error. If not then please post a recording (Jing is great for this) demonstrating what happens when you try to run your test.

Hi,
 No compilation error is coming, no log is generating. Nothing happens when we click on execute button.
Recording is also of no use, because nothing happens.

    does this behavior persist when you restart Test Studio? When you create a new project?

Yes, this behavior persist when I restart Test Studio. Also when I create a new project. I tried it lot of times.

Hello NKG,
    try executing the Test with the ArtOfTest.Runner.exe as seen here:

What happens?
