Is there a way to update all elements at one time rather than going in individually to make an update?  We introduced a new tag that significantly helps the identification of an element.  I want to remove 'id' from the find logic of any element that has it and replace it with 'fieldRef'.

Thanks!

Hi Alan,

There is currently no method in the user interface for Test Studio to automatically update all elements in the project sharing specific properties or find logic rules. I recommend changing the find logic for the individual elements through the Edit Element option in the context menu of the Elements Explorer. This method will prompt you to decide which steps will be affected by the change in find logic. If this is too time consuming, it may make more sense to re-record the relevant test steps using different Identification Logic under the Recording Options menu.

I have submitted a feature request for this feature. You can view it on our Public Issue Tracking System (PITS).

Kind regards,

Thanks for the help!  I have been using Edit Element from the Elements Explorer and will continue to do so.  Thank you for logging the request.
