When I made execute for a simple test case the result was "Fail - 0 passed of 0 executed"
and on viewing the text view there was an error

Hello maryam,

Thanks for the post and your trial of WebUI Test Studio. I'll reply to your ticket/forum post here instead of your other ticket so that this may help other users who view this thread.

This is a known issue and we are trying to track this down. Typically, running the test again right after this error will execute the test correctly.

Please let us know if this error occurs every time you try to run this test.

Best wishes,
Nelson Sin

Hello maryam,

That is very strange! Have you tried rebooting your computer since you got that error message? The product does use a global named pipe for communicating between the framework runner and our browser helper object. This pipe is supposed to be released as soon as test execution completes. I am wondering if it's not getting released somehow and a reboot will force it to be released. Thank you for your patience.

Greetings,
Cody

Hi,

Although this thread is a very old one, but I'm getting this error while I try to run FF browser, IE and Chrome works fine. In FF browser does not load the page itself.

No worries, googled and got the issue resolved, couple of telerik add ons were disabled.
