Behind the Scenes with the TeamPulse Team – Part 1

One of the most common questions I get asked is “does the TeamPulse Team use TeamPulse?” My answer is always “Of Course!!!” – The TeamPulse team is the biggest, most passionate, and most demanding customer of the TeamPulse product! We wouldn’t have it any other way. I thought I would take some time to detail some behind the scenes facts about the TeamPulse team; how we work, how we’re structured, and how we use TeamPulse. TeamStructure Just like a lot of teams in the real world, the TeamPulse team is distributed across geographies and time zones. Our entire team (Sales, ...

We actually announced to the world that Telerik was entering into the world of Agile Project Management tooling in April of 2010, however, our first “official” release wasn’t until July 27th of 2010. Today we released our 4th official release of TeamPulse; the 2011 R2 release: http://www.telerik.com/agile-project-management-tools/whats-new.aspx Our initial release shipped with what we thought were a “core” set of features that we could build upon very aggressively to support our long term vision: In our latest release, we really nailed some ...

Introducing the LOB Chronicles - Building a CRM Demo

Today we’re starting a new endeavor in the Xaml teams at Telerik to bring a new demo application your way.   The application that we have in mind is a Customer Relationship Management (better known as CRM) solution intended to help a fictional sales person through the trials and tribulations of his day-to-day experience.  Now keep in mind, we’re not looking to make an application that gets sold under the Telerik banner, rather this is an exercise to see how UX, design, architecture, and our team of eight can work together to produce and explain a brand new demo featuring some...
