Hi,

I was trying to update my installed Telerik products using "Progress Control Panel for Windows" yesterday. But for some reason it never finished updating. It downloaded everything but the progress bar said uninstalling but it never finished (after hours). So I closed the application and tried to uninstall each component one by one. First through the Progress Control Panel and then through Windows Programs Add & Remove. Some of the products were uninstalled but some hasn't. I can't seem to install a newer version either. It hangs up as well.

Is there a way I can uninstall everything and install it fresh? I am frustrated and this is not allowing me to finish my work which is on a deadline.

Please kindly assist ASAP. I am a paid subscribed customer but since this is not product specific, I don't know where to raise the Support Ticket for this issue.

Kind Regards,

JB

When I run the version of the Telerik Control Panel that I've downloaded from my account page (ProgressControlPanelSetup_2017_3_1002_3.exe), it runs the Control Panel, but the Control Panel doesn't actually get installed on my computer. This means that I have to keep this exe sitting on my desktop and run it from there every time. Can someone help? This is what the install log says:

Hi!

Today I became a licensed user for a Product my company has purchased from Telerik. And as I understand it I need to download and install the Control Panel to be able to manage my Telerik Products. Said and done, I've got the Control Panel up and running and I see one installed product: UI for ASP.NET AJAX, which is correct by the way.

When I select this Product and have a look at "View All Versions", I do see four available versions:
2017.2.711 (Trial installed),
2017.2.621 (disabled),
2017.2.503 (disabled) and
2015.2.623.

Why on Earth do I see just these four?

My Company uses 2016.2.607.40 (.NET 4.0) and I would like to use this.
Also, I don't want 2017.2.711 (Trial installed) as an installed trial version.

What have I done wrong or missed? I Think I did download the Control Panel without being logged on with my Telerik user account. Perhaps this made 2017.2.711 being installed as Trial.

Any input appreciated, thank you!

I have been attempting to download UI for Winforms R1 2017 SP1 for the past couple of days, but every time I start the download using the Control Panel it gets to 152/162MB and then stops.  After about another hour or so of waiting I eventually get a warning that the Hash doesnt match.  The first time it failed, I chose the retry option and the result was the same. So at the end of the second failure, I chose the cancel option at which point the progress bar on the control panel updated and displayed 2998MB/162MB.  I gave up and tried again today, but it appears to be doing the same thing.

Is there another way that I can download manually that particular version of the controls without using the control panel and install the version and maintain my current version of the controls which I need to do to support an application already in production.

We renewed our license a few weeks ago and it's all good on the website, but the Control Panel and VS Extension don't seem to recognize this. Can I just ignore this or will there be an issue when the previous expiration date hits in a week or so?

My computer is FIPS enabled (Work requirement). When I try to update the Control Panel the program Crashes. If I disable FIPS using the instructions provided this page http://docs.trendmicro.com/all/ent/sc/v3.0/en-US/cmcolh/t_fips.html the Control Panel does not crash and the update works. This just an FYI.

Hi,

I just downloaded the control panel. The link downloads TelerikControlPanelSetup_2016_4_1422_1.exe

It says 'is a bit old...'

What is the correct link to download the latest version?

At this point I cannot download products via the Control Panel.

The exact message I get is "Hmmm. It seems this installer is a bit old. Please, download the newest shiny version from here".The version it links me to is TelerikControlPanelSetup_2016_4_1317

Except I keep getting the same version, with the same error. I tried downloading it from the public site, and from My Account (which is current and my subscriptions don't expire until July 2017.

I do understand that the workaround is to download directly from the website, but I wanted to report that the Control Panel mechanism seems broken as of now.
