Below is the procedure I am trying to make work:
1.) Create a test and/or test list using WebUI Test Studio QA Edition.
2.) Execute the test and/or test list via MSTest.

We have the following tools:   WebUI Test Studio QA Edition,  WebUI Runtime Edition, and Visual Studio.  What I am missing, and need to fill in, are the steps in between steps  1.) and 2.)  above.

I have reviewed the video  <http://tv.telerik.com/watch/webui-test-studio/video/execute-webaii-test-with-ms-test>.  The video indicates using tests/test lists stored in Visual Studio, apparently created in Visual Studio.

The tests/test lists included in the process I am trying to develop, were created in WebUI Test Studio QA Edition, and I want to execute them via MSTest.
I do not know how to move/import a test and/or test list into Visual Studio.

I have yet to successfuly execute one of these tests via the command line using MSTest.   It does appear that I have successfuly gotten a test to load.

I have attached a snapshot of the 'test run error'.

Can you advise, please?

Thank you,
Billy Robeson

Hello Billy,

Thanks for the post and question, my response here will be similar to your other thread on the same subject.

I was able to reproduce the problem you are reporting. I was also working on getting a work around with the WebUI versions you have available, but unfortunately have not been successful.

I apologize for the inconvenience, I would assume you are looking to integrate your WebUI Tests into a TFS or other Continuous Integration scheme, so I'll log a bug for this.

As an alternative, would using the QA Edition command line execution or Windows scheduler with QA Test List work in the mean time?

Here are blog posts on the subject: Command Line Part 1, Command Part 2, Window Scheduler w/ Test List.

All the best,
