Hi,

I have recently installed the new version as I wanted to use the editor.

As a result of this, some of my existing code has stopped working! I have no idea what to do!!!

The code is:

switch(eventArgs.Command.get_Name()) {

case 'DOWN':

var cid = sender.get_RadDock().get_id();

var dockZoneID = sender.get_RadDock().get_DockZoneID();

var dock=$find(cid);

var currheight=parseFloat(dock.get_element().style.height); //dock.get_Height();

var minheight=(document.getElementById('txtmin'+cid).value);

dock.get_element().style.height = parseFloat(currheight)+parseFloat(minheight) + 'px';

currheight=parseFloat(dock.get_element().style.height);

dock._setContentContainerHeight();

SaveDockLayout(dockZoneID,cid,"","",document.getElementById("hidSrcFile").value,currheight)

break;

It is this line that is currently giving me problems:

var cid = sender.get_RadDock().get_id();

Have any of the raddock methods changed in the new release?

Regards,

Mark

Is it possible to modify the location of the ColorPicker palette pop-up? By default is expandes directly below the color picker icon. For example, can it be modified to display the pallette above the color picker icon?

Hey there,
I'm trying to set a custom skin for my text boxes but I can't get it to work... Here is what I try to do:

1) I copied the default skin to my project (~/RadControls/Input/Skins/Custom)

2) Renamed "Input.Default.css => Input.Custom.css"

3) Inside the .css I replaced all "_Default" => "_Custom"

4) And finally added a textbox: (In the past I was supposed to set the SkinsPath="~/RadControls/Input/Skins" but the SkinsPath attribute is gone...)

<telerik:RadTextBox ID="myCustomTextBox" runat="server" EnableEmbeddedSkins="False" Skin="Custom"></telerik:RadTextBox>

I'm in quite a hurry - need to get it fixed today :)

Cheers and thanks in advance

Hi!

Can I use a RadToolTip with RadMaskedTextBox?

I have this code:

....

<td>

<telerik:RadMaskedTextBox ID="txtValue" Mask="####-####-####-####" onBlur="HideToolTip()" runat="server">

</telerik:RadMaskedTextBox>

<telerik:RadToolTip ID="RadToolTip1" TargetControlID="txtValue" IsClientID="true" ShowEvent="OnFocus" Sticky="true" Animation="Fade" Position="MiddleRight" RelativeTo="Element" Text="Hello" Skin="Telerik" runat="server">

</telerik:RadToolTip>

</td>

..............

And the function in javascript is:

function HideToolTip(){

var tooltip = $find("RadToolTip1");

tooltip.hide();

}

When I use a simple textBox this code works, but when I use the RadMaskedTextBox  the RadToolTip doesn't appear.

Any help?

Thanks.

I am trying to deploy from one server to another and I am getting the following error:

Content deployment job 'Deploy ospipublic' failed.The exception thrown was 'System.InvalidOperationException' : 'Failed to compare two elements in the array.'

I have uninstalled the RadEditor, deleted the web.config safe entry, undeployed or retracted the solution, and deleted the web part from all the web pages.

Any idea why I would be getting this message?

Thanks,

Samantha

Hi

I have a table layout which should display two black tile graphics as side borders with a light colour tile graphics for the body.

However the right hand tile graphics does not display despite all my efforts.

The aspx for the whole page is ...

Hi,

I need to customise the editor to include our own versions of the file, image and link dialogs.

Is this possible with this version of the editor?

If it is possible please could you provide examples in with the Demos.

Cheers,

Just a few thoughts... A few things that I noticed on the demo for the latest r.a.d.Editor Prometheus release:

  • Preview mode simply greys out the toolbars... so what? What do I gain by doing that?  The editor used to hide the toolbars so I could see exactly what the content would look like.  I wish that the editor stilled worked that way.
  • In the demo for saving content to a file, I added a flash content and a video... the video didn't embed at all, but the flash did.  But when I tried to delete the flash from the editor by selecting it and hitting delete, nothing happens... thus deleting didn't work.  Obviously there's a few bugs showing up here.
  • I noticed that when embedding flash, the old-fashioned method of simply declaring the swf is used, rather than loading it using with object loaders (for example, something like SWFObject)... it would be nice if flash objects would automatically include the necessary javascript (and the declarations to the SWFObject js file) to allow the use of SWFObject so that all flash content loads correctly and avoids the "click on object first" behaviour to activate the flash before you are allowed to interact with it.

I'm looking forword to any feedback on these items.

Hi,

I am trying to integrate the new editor into my application. In the old editor, I could use a SetSize method to set teh size of the editor as required. I do not seem able to do this in the new editor? Is there a way?

Also, what css class entry would I need to change the background color of the content area?

Regards,

Mark
