I have installed the latest versions of RadControls for ASP.NET and Prometheus.  I have added a Scheduler to a new page, and bound it to  a datasource and it retrieves data fine.  I can also insert, update and delete appointments.

BUT the Day, Week and Month view buttons/tabs do nothing, similarly the next, previous and Show 24 Hours options do nothing.

I don't doubt I have missed something with configuring the scheduler, but I have copied the sample sites as closely as possible and migrated all web.config sections and keys to the one for my application.

My first thought was that it was a WebResource.axd access problem as it seemed some scripts weren't loading but as the edit side of things works I am fairly confident this is not the problem.

Any ideas?

Hi all

Is it possible to create a set of disabled days, where it is not possible to create an appointment ?

Or du you plan for a "Disable days" feature, where the user is able to disable all holidays etc. ?

Best regards

Hi Guys

I was trying to find these in the doc, but no luck.

  • editor.Toolbars("MainToolbar").Tools.Item("Preview").IsEnabled = False. I have tried editor.Tools(0).Tools.Item(2).Visible = False. But some times it doesn't work. And I think the old way is better, because I just need to specify the menu name rather than the index.
  • editor.Modules("RadEditorNodeInspector").IsVisible = True

  • RadEditorCommandList["Tag Insert"] = function(commandName, editor, oTool)
                {
                    theEditor = editor;
                    var value = oTool.GetSelectedValue();
                    EditorPasteHtml(value);
                };
  • RadEditorCommandList["ImageManager"] = function (commandName, editor, oTool)
                {
                    theEditor = editor;
                    editor.showDialog(
                        "/Editor/ImageManager.aspx"
                        , null
                        , 760
                        , 600
                        , EditorPasteHtml
                        , null
                        , "Image Manager");
                };
  • When I add a link tag the dropdownlist won't work. When I switch to html view and the switch back to design view, nothing works.
  • How do I add custom css dropdownlist. Previously I was doing like editor.cssFiles = hashtable. I have tried Dim css As New EditorCssFileCollection
    css.add("style.css")
    editor.cssFiles.addrange(css), but didn't work. So I tried to use for each loop to go through the cssfiles and add one by one editor.cssFiles.add(cs).
  • Modules doesn't show up.

Could you guys please point me to the right direction?

Hi,

It would be really handy to see a chart comparing the functionality of the 'normal' RadEditor to this Prometheus build so we can see what isn't implemented yet and then providing details of when the features are likely to be implemented.

Cheers,

Hi Guys

I am using User Control wrapped with an update panel. I using master page. When I click a button in the user control, it just update some details.
(One master page with a user control to display messages and a page with another user control)

My problem is, I have a user control in the master page which show the result if is successful, but this user control is not in the update panel.

I used a javascript function to display the message before. Now I have put the other user control inside a update panel.

My question is, how do I execute a javascript code when an operation is successful from code behind? Can I pass back parameter from code behind to update panel, so the update panel can execute javascript according to the result?

Cheers

Have a master page with a default.aspx page.  On load, I load a user control projects.ascx.

The layout on my Master page is aI have a left Div that contains my splitter.  Then I have a content div that is to the right of this div and contains my contentplaceholder.

If I put text or anything in the projects.ascx file, when the sliding zones slide out, they are transparent and and the text on projects.ascx blend in with the text of the sliding zone and makes either text unreadable.

Need to figure out how the sliding zone when it extends is not transparent and covers up any content behind it.

One caveat with this would be that if the dock button is clicked then the content div that contains the projects.ascx page shifts to the right so the docked sliding zone doesn't cover up anything when docked.

Thanks.

P.S.  Just looking for the same functionality as this example:
http://www.telerik.com/DEMOS/ASPNET/Prometheus/Splitter/Examples/SP_FirstLook/DefaultCS.aspx

However, not working out that way in the aforementioned scenario.

Not sure I'm missing something but I've checked the docs as well as the source code for the following example.

http://www.telerik.com/DEMOS/ASPNET/Prometheus/Splitter/Examples/SP_FirstLook/DefaultCS.aspx

Problem I'm having is when you click on the dock image when a pane is out, it immediately closes.  What I expect is the pane stays "docked" in the extended position until you click the dock image again.

This is prometheus running on 2008 Beta 2 on a master page if that makes any difference.  I found an EnableDock which I tried setting to true but no change.  However, i don't see the example using this attribute so I assume the default value is true.

Is there something I'm missing with this control?  Should the dock image work when clicked or is there something else that needs to be configured so the pane stays extended?

I have seen this old thread.

http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/thread/b311D-gmcdb.aspx

However I have three panes in my splitter.

Hi,
Just download the new version of radscheduler and cannot get it to fully work.

I have bound the control to a MS SQL 2005 datasource.  I am able to create new appointments but it fails when I either try to edit(via double clicking or dragging) or deleting the appointment.

I have spent a good 3 hours on this and cannot see for the life of me where the error occurs.

Note : No C# code has been implemented by myself this is a brand new file I have been testing with.

Hi,

I'm testing the RadEditor and have some Strange behaviour:

I'm using the Followind Architecture

Master Page --> Page --> Tabstrip -->
(dynamic loaded UserControls) --> RadEditor

Now what  happens:
When I select the tab which loads the UserControl with the RadEditor the RadEditor is loaded without toolbars (from *.xml) displayed.
Changing the Tab (i.e. loading another UserControl) and then go back to the Tab with the UserControl with the RadEditor shows the toolbar now.

How can I get the toolbar displayed the first time?

Regards,
Peter
