i want to allow that the user of a schedule system may select there own color-combinations for there appointments. When i use CSS cooded by hand it is working, but because i have no idear how many users will register for this calender, i store the background/forecolor in there user Profile. It may come 120 User total, so i don't want the change the CSS and

select
case
statement


all the time

When i just set these color during appointment creating like

the colors are correct but i have a background-grafik overlap at the upper border of my appoinment. i guess this is cooming from the oroginal (in my Case Office2007) skin i am using.

This is not the case when i used hard cooded CSS with no background-image defined, then the grafik is gone.

What must i do to remove the grafik, when i set the colors by code behind.

I am currently in the process of moving most of my RadControls to the Prometheus controls.  I also use the CSS layout Blueprint (http://code.google.com/p/blueprintcss/) to help keep the pages uniform between browsers.  I have found that on Firefox the combobox works fine but in IE 7 the scrolling (you have to have more items in the list than you have screen real estate for) is all messed up.

Has anyone else experienced this or know of a quick fix?  I am assuming one of the styles in the blueprint css files is the cause.  If that is the case I just need to find out which one and put it in my skin for the combobox.

I am developing an ASP.NET app using C# 3.5, VS 2008.  I am using the AspNetSqlMembershipProvider with three levels of users, the general public who do not login, users and administrators.  There are some features that only administrators can access and some features that only users and administrators can access.

Currently, I am using a WebSiteMap, SiteMapDataSource and TreeView to handle the navigation.  When first accessing the app, the restricted features are not visiable.  When an user logs in, then the user features become visiable on the tree view.  Likewise, when an administrator logs in, then both the user and administrator features appear.

I would like to replace the WebSiteMap, SiteMapDataSource and TreeView with the Prometheus RadMenu with the options being displaced horizonally across the top of the MasterPage. 

I did try the option of indicating that the data source to the RadMenu was the SiteMapDataSource but this option only displayed the first note ("Home") with the other options as children and only when the home option was selected.  (The first leve in a WebSiteMap can have only one note.)

Does anyone know how to integrate the RadMenu with the MembershipProvider such that retricted buttons only appear if the user is authorized to access those features>

I'm using a rad window to upload some files to the server.  When I upload the first time it works, how ever if I use the same form and upload a second time, it saves the file twice in the target folder.  Once with the name I give in in the function below and the other file is without the appended documentid.  So i get two files like this: 143test.txt and test.txt.


Here is my bindresults function that is called on the sumbit click.  Any ideas?  Its as if the inital save uses the default temp folder and then on subsequent saves it changes the temp folder to the targetphysical path.

Hello all,

I have a Portal built from the MyPortal example posted here.  I also have a user control that has a MS ReportViewer Control inside it which I use to dynamically bind reports to. 

When I try to add a dock to the portal with this control inside it, I get a jscript error in the page 

Microsoft JScript runtime error: 'frames.119_C_ctl00_ctl00TouchSession0.location' is null or not an object

i have noticed that 119 is the PageWidgetID of the dock I am trying to place, and the error happens on this line

This is a critical piece to my software, and my purchase order was sent back to us for revision, so I cannot attach a working project.  Is there any solution for this?

Howdy,  I have a webform with a radscheduler (setup.aspx), code has the following javascript to intercept an appointment click and load additional data in a radwindow (setuppopup.aspx).  Setuppopup.aspx executed/behaved perfectly fine when running on its own (i.e. not inside a radwindow).  However, now, a dropdownlist isn't getting selected anymore, and a button that transfers values from a textbox to a listbox seems to duplicate all the values that it transfers.

ddlpresenter (dropdownlist) is tied to a sqldatasource control, textvalue is "firstname, lastname", valuefield is "username".  sql side for the record being pulled by MDBid variable above only has the 'username' stored.  lblpresenter shows that the correct value is being pulled, the ddlpresenter however doesn't seem to respond.

The button that is supposed to parse the textbox and spit out to a listbox does the following:

We are using a RadGrid with paging using the NextPrevNumericAndAdvanced pager style. When executing a paging operation (changing page index or page size, whether via the textbox or page numbers or arrows), the operation itself executes databinding, and then the PreRender on the Grid executes databinding again.

This behavior is especially costly when a database is used for the data source.

Can you change the behavior during paging so that only data bind is executed, or at least only one call to the data source is performed?

Hello,

I wanted to know if it is possible to extend the Prometheus RadScheduler Control.  I wanted to add a couple of textboxes that will show up on the loading of the Event Insertion screen.  These textboxes will submit data when the Insert Event is fired. 

Is this possible?

In RadScheduler, when you put in appointmentTemplate an ImageButton to do the exportCalendar event, when I do a postBack, it's appear "'null' is null or not and object" javaScript Error, but when I use a button instead of the imageButton, this error doesn't appear.

In my application I used AjaxUpdatePanels, RadLoadingPanels, RadCalendar, RadComboBox, RadTreeview, ...

Why this error appears when I use a imageButton and not when I use a button?
