[Solved] Performance of Ajax Prometheus compared to ASP.NET Ajax

I know Ajax Prometheus is built on top of ASP.NET Ajax, but are they any performance penalities for choosing Prometheus over ASP.NET Ajax?  Our webpages are fairly complex and we want to maximize performance as much as possible.  We like that Prometheus is much easier to use compared to Update Panels, but just want to make sure there are not too much extra overheads that comes wiht Prometheus.

Hi Jacky,

Currently there are not performance penalties when you use RadAjax "Prometheus" compared to plain ASP.NET AJAX UpdatePanels. However you can use some tricks to optimize performance even more. Please check this blog post for more info.
