This help article shows how we can test the size of a file using the "OnClientProgressUpdating" event of the RadProgressArea object.

However, the article requires that the file size limit is coded in to the JavaScript function.

Given that the actual file size limit is set in the web.config file using the maxRequestLength attribute, wouldn't it be better if this value were used in the called function? OK, I'm guessing that this isn't a value that would, by default, be available in the client-side code, but I'm willing to bet that, server-side, you know, or have access to this value, so you could set it as a client-side property of the RadUpload object.

Just a though.

[Solved] RadTextbox and Input.css don't work together

Hi Telerik:

I am modifying Skin Web20 for RadTextbox ( I have done all the steps ), basically I want only to use Verdana font, but the changes aren't done.

Prometheus in a SharePoint Web Part

I'm trying to upgrade a web part I wrote from the old telerik controls to the new Prometheus controls. I've deployed the DLL and added the HTTP handler entry to my web.config and added a script manager object to the Controls collection before my RadCalendar object.

This is the error I'm getting:

Probably a daft question

If you have a splitter and, say, one pane has a vertical menu, is it possible, if the menu flies out to the right further than the width of the RadPane, to have to menu (and just the menu) extend over the pane boundary like in this photoshopped image?

RadAjaxManager 2008 has a bug!

When I use RadAjaxManager 2008 with following codes, an error is occuring:

<%=intQuestionID%> or <div id="dv_<%=intQuestionID%>">

Error : The Controls collection cannot be modified because the control contains code blocks (i.e. <% ... %>).

But, when I use RadAjaxManager 2007SP1, page is running without any error...

Bullet and number list not working in editor

If you click on the number or bullet list options on the editor, they don't work until you provide some text. Is there a fix for this?

RadEditor toolbar shows extra annoying black squares in DotNetNuke

I'm upgrading some of our DotNetNuke modules including the latest Telerik ASP.NET Ajax controls.

When I use the latest RadEditor control in DotNetNuke, the Toolbar is messed up with a black square at the left side of each control button. Are there some skinning/css conflicts between DotNetNuke and the RadEditor? I noticed that this issue also appears in the RadTreeview and the RadUpload controls.

I have tested the controls in all available RadEditor skins as well in several DotNetNuke skins (including the default DNN Blue skin).

Is there a 'workaround' for this issue?

DNN Provider for RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX?

Is there a DNN Provider for the new RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX? I see a beta provider was made available through the blog - but is there an updated, production version available?

Reordering not happening properly when there is a scroll bar on the screen.

i have a Raddockzone on my screen. IT contains many raddocks because of which a vertical scroll bar appears on the screen. Now when i try to drag the first the first raddock to the last position in the zone some white space kind of thing appears and it does not correctly detect the position where i intend to put the raddock. BEcause of this the raddock does not fall properly into the position i intend to put, instead it places itself at some other position. THis problem comes only when there is a scroll bar on the screen. Can anyone please let me know what has to be done to resolve this.

[Solved] RadEditor inside Multipage, css styles not linked

If you place a RadEditor control inside a pageview of a RadMultiPage, the core CSS styles for the editor itself are linked, but the styles for the modal dialogs are not, thus rendering them useless.
