Hi,

I want to know how set a text for Label, Literal, ... in a <FormTemplate> of a RadGrid.

My project uses a GlobalResource and a function which loop all controls (and subcontrols, ... with recursivity) and change text of control if resource exists. But when I try to find controls in a GridEditableItem, I don't find my Label. Here an example :

ScriptResource_002

I'm having big problems with performance in my Apps. When I download a page, I see that a file ScriptResource_002 is 260kb. Whereas a page downloaded from Telerik site is about 80kb. Seems like your version is compressed. How did you do that?

Alphabetic pager

I'm using the Alphabetic pager example but I'm looking for a way to set the page size dynamically. I only want to use the alphabetic part, not any page numbers.

e.g If your page size is set to 30, then when you click on a letter that has more than 30 records, it will not show them, you will never get to see them.

Custom grid header row with combo boxes

I want to create a row of combo boxes (one for each column) that is above the other rows of data in the Grid. The row needs to persist across pages.

The grid I use uses paging and horizontal scrolling. It is also bound to a datasource who's structure can change from one execution to the next. I use advanced data binding through the OnNeedDataSource event. I bind to a DataTable object.

Each combo box will hold the same data, and I will custom handle the logic of the cb's postback (as long as I can reference the value of the header, or index for that column).

Can you suggest a way of implementing this?

I'm still new to the Telerik controls, so please help me out. Code samples would be appreciated.

Grid Clearing problem

Hi,

I have a Premetheus grid that display database data. One of the columns includes a link field, and another an image button. The data is loaded from the database and displays well.

To clear the grid data, I set the DataSource property to null and then do a rebind. The data disappear but empty rows remain and the image buttons remain shown.

Setting the Datasource to null and rebinding should do the trick. Any ideas why this is happening?

Toolbar suddenly stopped working

I have a very, very weird problem. The RadToolbar has suddenly stopped working today on both my development machine and a testing server. Neither the OnClientButtonClicking javascript event nor the ButtonClick event is being fired for any of the toolbar buttons. I have not put new code on the testing server since last Friday, and it was working yesterday.

I know it's a long-shot than anyone else has experienced this, but am I alone? Has a recent Windows Update changed the behavior in any way?

Open RadGrid in Editmode

Hello!
I have a very simple and common requirement:
The Radgrid should be started entirely in editmode="inPlace".
Unfortunately I'v found nothing to achieve this. Something like IsEditable="true" in the aspx page would be great.

scheduler next day button

Hi,

We have a performance problem with Scheduler as our users have thousands of appointments to bind to Scheduler. This is taking long time to run the SQL which returns thousands of records. I want to load one day appointments when Day view is selected and clicked on Next day button. And want to load weekly appointments when Navigation is in week mode, and clicked on the small right triangle button and similarly with month. Is it a doable thing with scheduler?

Can not find controls in TabTemplate

Hello guys,

I m trying to find some controls using javascript like this:

but I got error:

"The name 'cflTabOrder' does not exist in the current context"

Also I can not use this control from code behide.
Just wonder why the control is invisible?
