Several days ago I got the good news that Telerik has made it to Red Herring Magazine's Europe Top 100 list that follows Europe's most promising technology companies. Quoting Red Herring, "For 10 years, Red Herring's editorial team has diligently surveyed entrepreneurship around the globe. Technology industry executives, investors, and observers have regarded the Red Herring 100 lists as an invaluable instrument to discover and advocate the promising startups that will lead the next wave of disruption and innovation." It’s a great pleasure to announce that Telerik completed the acquisition of Avaxo Ltd., makers of the Bookvar mind-mapping software. The Avaxo team will join Telerik’s Silverlight and WPF product groups in their quest to deliver next-generation interfaces. I showed you some Telerik Silverlight goodness in my last post but here's some more: check out the iZoofari video case study that was shown at the MIX 08 keynote. It's a great demonstration of how Microsoft's latest technologies can help IT people and developers roll out amazing applications and enjoy tremendous productivity.
