Hi, is it possible to display the tooltip when hovering over a link - without it fading away - until I move the mouse away off of the link?

Currently, if I have Sticky="True" then the tooltip displays when i mouseover AND when i mouse out somewhere else. If I then move the cursor back over the link then the tooltip will flash open and then close.

If I set Sticky="False" then when I mouseover the link it will open the tooltip and then close it. If I chane the delay then the delay value works, but if I move the cursor off of the link then the tooltip doesn't disappear until the dealy is finished.

I'm not sure if I am using this correctly or not. Thanks.

<telerik:RadToolTip runat="server" ID="rttAbstract" Skin="Web20Green" Width="300px"

TargetControlID="lnkAbstract" IsClientID="true" Animation="Fade" Sticky="true"

RelativeTo="Element" Position="BottomCenter">

I have a page that is based on a master page. The Ajax Manager is in one of the content sections.  The tab control that I'm trying to ajaxify is linked to a multi-page in a different content section.

The Ajax manager doesn't like this.

Can you suggest a way that I can make this work? I often times use master pages and different content sections to wrap pretty things like Ribbon sections and have tabs in one content section and the actual content in another and need to ajaxify.

Thanks!

Is there any place I might find a "best practices" or "how-to" guide on using the RadEditor in relation to a sites style sheets (that seem to affect both its display and the display of its content)?

Basically, I'm trying to add editing to existing sites so that the end users can modify the HTML themselves. The problems I'm running into though are that the sites CSS files often distort the display of the RadEditor itself. When I overcame that, I realized that in some cases (not all), I'd like those styles to apply to the content within the editor. So what I'm getting at is that I'm finding my way, but I can't be the first and I'd love any advice anyone has.

Thanks!

I "love" the tooltip at the tooltip demo url:
http://www.telerik.com/DEMOS/ASPNET/Prometheus/ToolTip/Examples/ShowEvent/DefaultCS.aspx#

When you hover above the help button the white, slightly transparent tooltip is exactly what we need.  The tooltip is inside of a datalist (we are currently using a module.css file)

<asp:DataList ID="RssDataList" runat="server" CssClass="Normal" DataSourceID="RezHubRssDataSource1">
 <ItemTemplate>
        <div class="rss_item" style="width:<%=RssWidth%>;">

            <a href="javascript:;" id="RssNews" runat="server">
            <span style="color:<%=RssColor%>"><%#XPath("title")%></span></a>

                <telerik:RadToolTip Position="TopCenter" RelativeTo="Element" ID="RadToolTip1" EnableViewState="false"
                    ShowEvent="OnClick" ManualClose="true" runat="server" CssClass="rh_tooltip">
                   <div id="rh_deal" class="rh_tip" style="width:<%=RssWidth%>;" runat="server">
                        <%#XPath("description")%>
                            <div class="readmore_link"><a id="ReadMore" href='<%#XPath("link")%>' runat="server">Read more...</a></div>
                   </div>
                </telerik:RadToolTip>
        </div>
 </ItemTemplate>
</asp:DataList>

In the item databound event of the datalist, the following code wires up the tooltip item for item

Dim titleLink As System.Web.UI.HtmlControls.HtmlAnchor = CType(e.Item.FindControl("RssNews"), HtmlAnchor)
            If Not (titleLink Is Nothing) Then
                Dim radToolTip As Telerik.Web.UI.RadToolTip = CType(e.Item.FindControl("RadToolTip1"), Telerik.Web.UI.RadToolTip)
                If Not (radToolTip Is Nothing) Then
                    radToolTip.TargetControlID = titleLink.ClientID
                    radToolTip.IsClientID = True
                End If
            End If

We drastically need something different that the "default skin". Would anyone per chance enlighten me one more time how to do this?

Hi,

What you see is not what you get...

I'm working with RadChart and have done some style changes (Colors of Bars in Barchart,...).

These changes appear in the Visual Studio view, but when I start the Project, the RadChart has the style of the skin "Default".

Form where does the RadGrid take the style when i do not apply a skin?
How do I set the skin to none?

Regards,
Pitsch

Is there a way to Ajaxify a usercontrol from a button on another usercontol if both are nested in a Masterpage. I hope that makes sense.

The scenario is a product detail page in an ecommerce package. When the user clicks the add to cart in the product detail ascx, I was hoping to write the product to the cart db and then call a specific sub on the small cart ascx that would then show the updated list. Or simply refresh the small cart ascx and in the page_load it will show the updated list.

Sincerely,

Ben

Hi,

I have two questions over the Movement of the appointment.

1.  How can I setup confirmation if I move an appointment?  i already have got JS confirmations if you adjust the size of the appointment, cannot see how this is done for general movement.
2. If the user either drags/creates a appointment into the past (< now()) how can I get a confirmation box up?

Thanks,

JK

Hello,

I found in the demo section that it is possible to have a radtooltip on an appointment. I'm pretty sure that there are things missing in the presented code. Could we have a sample project demonstrating the radtooltip on an appointment that I could use?

Thank you again for your great work.

Hello,

This sounds not just for Rad controls, but I did encounter it during working with Rad.

I use javascript to radcontrol from id, but my id is variable:
...
var id = "dock"+i;
var dock = $find("<%= id.ClientID%>");//Error here
...
Is there some alternative for this?

Cheers
Ubong
