After applying hotfix 1425 - my code to extract values is failing. This is what I have:

- A grid with few columns and a selection checkbox.
- A button outside of grid.
- I select the checkbox
- click the button and on server side I do following in OnClick of button:

GridEditableItem selRow = grid1.SelectedItems[0] as GridEditableItem;
        Hashtable rowValues = new Hashtable();
        //get row values
        selRow.ExtractValues(rowValues);

        //set values from the selected row
        DateTime date = MyConverter.ToDateTime(rowValues["Date"], DateTime.MinValue);

----
the ExtractValues() function does not give error but all values inside the hashtable are null. The keys are correct, but no values!

Why? This was working find in earlier version of release but started breaking after 1425. Please help us soon.

AutoClose Tooltip

I am using the Tooltip control to show a popup of a larger version of an image on hover. I am trying to get the tooltip to stay up the entire time the mouse cursor is over the image (target control) and as soon as you move away it disappears. The problem I am having is when the mouse is on the target control, the tooltip disappears and re-appears constantly - almost with a "flashing" effect since it is on/off/on/off. As soon as I am not hovering any longer, the control works as I would expect. Any suggestions? Below is the markup on the aspx page, and the VB I am using in the code-behind.

Window Close Ajaxrequest

Hello,
I use the following code to do an Ajaxrequest on a Radwindow close (this code works)

    
            function OnClientClose()  
        
                {  
        
                    //use this if RadWindow is used  
        
                    GetRadWindow().BrowserWindow.InitiateAjaxRequest(null);  
        
                    GetRadWindow().Close();  
        
                }

I wonder how to modify this code if this is not the page context of a RadWindow, but a regular page opened with window.open or <a href=... target=_blank> ?

Default path for Image Manager problem

Hello,

I am doing a large project in MOSS and we are going to buy your RadEditor Control (and maybe more controls).

I found out that if I set default libraries for RadEditor's Image Manager
(e.g. ListConfigFile.xml file:

it works fine.
But when specifiec library does not exists for certain site I get an ugly error:

In my project I have about 300 sites and some does not have certain libraries. Could you fix that issue and make Image Manager omit non-existing libraries instead of throwing an exception?

Ajax error handling

Rad controls when get some errors (like datasource is null or session expired etc) - where do they throw? How do I catch errors thrown by Rad Controls and do some processing?

Specially if I am using a AjaxManager in a page and session expires on the server - how do I refresh the whole page and redirect to Login or some other page?

referencing dock content on postback

I modified one of the portal examples posted in this forum to create rad docks dynamically. I'm opening up a RadWindow using a custom DockCommand in my docks. The RadWindow contains an editor. I treat the window like a dialog and pass back the html from the editor (RadWindow) to the calling page and dock by using this callback function

This all works great but I need to reference the html sent back on postback so I can save it (to a db or whatever) but I'm not sure how. Maybe I'm going about this incorrectly.

Can anyone offer some advice?

Close Window from Formview

slider and update panels

Hi

I am considering using the prometheus slider in my applications and i have some initially questions.

Firstly, can you use the slider inside and asp.net update panel in asp.net 2.0? I need a change in the position of the slider to trigger a partial postback and for the slider to maintain its position

Also, i've looked at the slider demos called configuration and this is exactly what i want. However, i dont like the way the slider bar moves along the slider. It jumps from one graduation on the slider to another and does not move smoothly between points on the slider. Is there a way to change this? For example, can you animate the way the slider moves?
