Using Progress Manager with Forms Authentication

When I use the progreess manager outside of the admin folder, it works fine. The problems come when using it inside the admin folder. I get an alert box that lists an Ajax callback error and contains the contents of my 'access denied' page. I just can't figure out how to use the control with Forms Authentication. This same issue also affects the Spellchecker in RadEditor. Help!

Installed final release, RadGrid is not skinned anymore

Hi.

I've just installed the final release of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX, only to discover that my RadGrids are not skinned anymore. Have been working fine until now. There's no CSS styling or skin images present. I haven't done anything with the code.

I have copied the new Telerik Skins folder into my application.

And the lack of skinning is only a problem with RadGrid, all the other controls I have present in my application are skinned fine.

There's no CSS styling on that page that could override the grid skinning. I'm puzzled. I have tried to change the Skin parameter of RadGrid without any change. The grid is simply not skinned.

[Solved] Unescaped Ampersands In Menu Text

I've got a menu bound from a database and some of the menu items contain ampersands (&) in the text of the menu. This creates validation errors:

I've tried to do a Replace("&","&") in the ItemDataBound server event but that doesn't seem to have any effect. Any ideas?

Vista Skin and Height of Embedded Control

I am using the PanelBar a RadTreeView embedded in one of the RadPanelItems. The height of the tree is set to 100%.

When I am using the Office2007 skin, it works just fine. When I use the Vista skin, the tree height is only as large as the tree itself. This is not a product of the tree as I am using another control in one of the other RadPanelItems and I get the same result.

Is there a property in the CSS files that needs to be changed?

Custom css styles for editor in different site collections

Hi

I've added the radhtml editor to two of our sharepoint publishing sites (2 different site collections). Each of these sites uses a differnet css style sheets to change the colour scheme of the site.

I've added a CssEditor.css file to the:
\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\wpresources\RadEditorSharePoint\4.5.2.0__1f131a624888eeed\RadControls\Editor
directory which has changed the style in the editor within both sites.

Is there any way to create a separate css editor file for each site collection so that the css can then be altered to match each site's scheme?

GridTableView problem

Hi all,

I have radGrid on my web page. I now want to display a child GridTableView which will display some detail information. My radGrid is named Illustration and my GridTableView is named IllustrationDetail. I want to use the IllustrationID from my radGrid to fetch the rows from my database to populate IllustrationDetail. I do not know how to get the value of IllustrationID from my radGrid. I was trying to use "FindControl" but it gives me an error. Here is my code:

[Solved] editor inside RadWindow crashes in Firefox

Hi,
in my application, I have a splitter-page ("default.aspx") with several Panes. In one Pane I invoke the Page via contenturl ("content.aspx").
The WindowManager resides in "default.aspx".
In "content.aspx", I call a modal RadWindow with top.radopen("window.aspx").
Now the problem: In "window.aspx", there is a RadEditor.
After closing the RadWindow and (after a while) the browser, Firefox (but not IE) crashes.
When exchanging the RadEditor with a TextBox, there is no crash.
I hope you can reproduce my problem.

If i change the ID of RADTimepicker, the items in Timeview becomes white but can be selected?

mms links stripped out

when i try to set a link with a mms protocol it gets stripped out when saving the page.

I know there was a post in feb about this being a problem. Is there a work aroudn that will work now? We have hundreds of videos on a media server that we need to link to.

[Solved] ItemClick and NavigateUrl

Hello,
We use RadMenu and we want to execute common code on each menu click event before redirecting to another page.
There is an event ItemClick on the menu, but it is not fired if we use NavigateUrl to specify the targeted page.
We can use the event, if we don’t specify NavigateUrl and use Response.Redirect to redirect to the targeted page, but this requires additional manual coding.

I would like to check if there is a way to get ItemClick fired using NavigateUrl.
