I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem.

I wish to create a chart with multiple(Y Axis) series. I have a SQL database. In which a user can select a table and then select one or more columns to add to a chart via a list box. All the tables have a logdate column for the x axis.

Thanks in Advance

I have a RadMenu (AJAX 2008.1) that uses a WebMethod to populate the items. Everything is working with the exception that when the AJAX method returns (and the menu is populated), I get an error saying "baseData is not defined". This happens both on IE and FF on line 1858 of the .axd file. Here is the line of code:

baseData["navigateUrl"]=_1c8;

Has anyone else had this error?

The result of the error is that my loading template never disappears.

Here is the definition of the menu:

<telerik:RadMenu runat="server" ID="rm" Skin="Default">
<WebServiceSettings Path="MenuService.asmx" Method="GetMainMenuItems" />
    <LoadingStatusTemplate>
    Loading...
    </LoadingStatusTemplate>
</telerik:RadMenu>

Has anyone had any luck with using the recurrence engine outside of the scheduler interface?

For instance, while I want my CMS component to be similar to Outlook for actually enterring the calendar data, I want to be able to show a simple, read-only list page, and then give the visitor the ability to click through to a detail page for end-users viewing the data on the website.

I've toyed with the code in the KB article (http://www.telerik.com/support/kb/article/b454K-mga-b454T-cth-b454c-cth.aspx) about showing appointments in GridView, but I haven't gotten much to work outside of displaying the list:

    http://www.downtownpittsburgh.com/events.aspx

I've added a large number of custom fields, all of which I can access, but I've run into trouble trying to figure out the recurrence engine and if there is a way that I can harness it to show the proper dates on that detail page.

If anyone has already treaded these waters, or has any suggestion for how I can handle it, I'd be much obliged.

Thank you, Joseph

Hello,
Consider the following html code:
 <telerik:RadComboBox runat="server" AutoPostBack="true" Skin="Hay" ID="rcbEnvironments">
                <ItemTemplate>
                    <asp:CheckBoxList runat="server" DataTextField="Name" DataValueField="Id" ID="cblEnvironments" />
                </ItemTemplate>
                </telerik:RadComboBox>

How do I from codebehind databind the checkboxlist ?

If I try (checkboxlist)rcbEnvironments.FindControl("cblEnvironments"), I get a null.

Thanks,
Nicolas

Here's my scenario.
RadGrid with skin set to Inox, allowing adds/updates, EditMode="EditForms" and EditFormSettings as below:

<EditFormSettings>

<PopUpSettings ScrollBars="None" />

<EditColumn UniqueName="EditCommandColumn1" ButtonType="PushButton"></EditColumn>

</EditFormSettings>

 I hit the 'Add' button and all controls display correctly (input controls as well as the 'add' and 'cancel' images).

If I change the skin to WebBlue and hit 'Add', I don't get an image for the 'insert' button, only the 'cancel' button.

I've tested several other skins and most of them are acting the same way as WebBlue.  I can get Inox and Black to work as I would expect them to.

What am I missing?

Hi Everyone,

How to loop through the bound checkboxes in the template column

I have checkboxes in the radgrid which are bound to a table. They have to be editable.

Later I need to loop through them to find out whether they are checked or not and then depending on that I have to update the database.

Please tell me how to go about this.

The code snippet is as follows:

<telerik:radgrid id="RadGrid1" runat="server" allowpaging="True" gridlines="None" autogeneratecolumns="False" skin="Default2006" showstatusbar="True" >

                <clientsettings allowcolumnsreorder="True" reordercolumnsonclient="True">

                </clientsettings>

                <mastertableview datakeynames="MenuSysID" commanditemdisplay="Top">

                <commanditemtemplate>

                    <div style="padding: 10px 0px;">

                        <asp:linkbutton runat="server" id="lnkEdit" commandname="Save">

              <img style="border:0px;vertical-align:middle;" alt="" src="Img/icon_edit.gif" />

              Save

                        </asp:linkbutton>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

                </commanditemtemplate>

                    <columns>

                        <telerik:gridtemplatecolumn datafield="MenuCaption" forceextractvalue="Always" headertext="Menu"

                            uniquename="MenuCaption">

                            <itemtemplate>

                                <asp:label id="MenuCaptionLabel" runat="server" text='<%# Eval("MenuCaption") %>'></asp:label>

                            </itemtemplate>

                        </telerik:gridtemplatecolumn>

                        <telerik:gridtemplatecolumn headertext="Input" uniquename="TemplateColumn1">

                            <itemtemplate>

                                <asp:checkbox id="CheckBox1" runat="server" checked='<%# Eval("Input") %>' />
