Dynamic Dock with Dynamic web user control.

Hello,

I am tring to create web site sample like drag and drop and i am using Rad Dock control.....

I am using PortalCS sample given by telerick that load dock dynamically and then load webusercontrol into dynamically created dock.

I have one webusercontrol that has Bar Chart (RadChart). When i click on bar RadChart1_Click event is not fire.

I want to handle this click event.

Again Dock and WebUsercontrol is created dynamically.

Rad Grid pagination (custom Paging)

hi
am facing problem in custom paging of grid.am returning 5 rows frm stored proc
and my page size of grid is 5 .virtual count am setting to 2 from database (number of records from that particular table is 9.)
problem is that my grid is not displaying the pager template

AutoCompleteType = None

There seems to be a problem with AutoCompleteType = None for RadTextBox.

I'm using Visual Web Developer 2008 and RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX 2008.1.515 in IE 8 (with Emulate IE7 on).

When I set the AutoCompleteType to None, there's no apparent autocomplete function at all in either IE or Safari. Firefox does however show the autocomplete entries.

If I set AutoCompleteType to one of the preset values, it works as expected.

Different Colored Menus

I'm trying to build color coded menus based on the color of the root menu item. ie:
portal.chaminade-stl.com

I've played with the skin provider and can do something like:

temp.radMenuItem.CssClass = temp.radMenuItem.CssClass & "TAB_CSS_" & .TabID

but this applies the style to the <a> tag not the <li>

Is there a way to set the root menu css programatically?

ASP.NET AJAX Version?

Basic question, and apologies if this in answered somewhere and I just missed it!

Which ASP.NET AJAX version(s) can be used with the RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX?

The fact sheet (http://www.telerik.com/support/requirements-and-compliance/system-requirements.aspx) states only that "It is a prerequisite to have ASP.NET AJAX installed when using Telerik RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX."

Currently ASP.NET AJAX is at 3.5?? I believe. Our company is still using the 1.0 version. I'd like to upgrade the control suite, but need to be sure it will fully function with the older AJAX version, or at least be aware of the item(s) that might not be functional in the older version so I can make an informed decision.

[Solved] skin change - no longer diplays images for custom buttons

Hi, I have created some custom buttons on the editor's toolbar and have set the style for their images in the containing aspx page like this for example:

.rade_toolbar.Default .ProductLink
{
background-image: url(/images/Controls/RadEditor/buttonProductLink.gif);
}

This works fine, however, after changing the editors skin from Default to WebBlue and updating the declaration in my style to instead be:

.rade_toolbar.WebBlue .ProductLink

the image for the button fails to load when the editor is displayed. I need to use this WebBlue skin and need to get the images to display for my custom buttons. Any ideas?

[Solved] cells borders

Hi Telerik Team,



I have a problem with styling skin. 

I will describe my problem briefly, but first of all I'll show you what I want to achive.

I just want to emphasize some cells borders by changing its default color.

2008.1.515.35 Publish Bug

Hi Everyone,

I recently upgraded from 2008.1.415.35 to 2008.1.515.35 (SP1); everything appeared fine until I tried to publish my latest changes to our server. Published version does not apply Skins that are contained in the Telerik.Web.UI resource file.

If you are having this issue, just revert back to version 2008.1.415.35. I’m sure telerik will come up with a fix soon…

Can you refresh custom datasource on Postback?

Hello,
I have implemented a control with RadScheduler and a custom data source, and so far it works.

I have the following problem:
1) I have implemented a ContextMenu, that calls my own page that in turn modifies the table (appointmet) that feeds the custom data source.
2) This page is loaded as a modal form, and when I close it I force a postback.
3) The problem is that the postback, reloads "MyDbSchedulerProvider" but it does not refresh the data. So, if I change the dates using my form, it does not reflect in the scheduler until a switch views or click on advance month (if in the monthly view)

I wonder, is there any way to manually call the GetAppointments method in MyDbSchedulerProvider?
