[Solved] Will ASP.NET_AJAX_2008 work with vs2005?

i know it combines both 2.0 & 3.5 framework, does this mean it will only run on vs2008?

or will it still run on vs2005? i do not have vs2008 installed on my dev pc as yet

reason i ask, i just downloaded the trial version  "RadControls_for_ASP.NET_AJAX_2008_1_515_trial.exe" but on trying to run it i get a prompt "Error reading setup initialization file", then another "1158:"

Hello Craig,

RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX can work both with VS2005 and VS2008 but the dll files are different.

I suggest to completely uninstall the previous version of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX and run the installation again.

In case you do not succeed or you prefer to manually add the dlls in your bin folder, please note that in case you use VS2005 you should use the dll from the RadControl for ASP.NET AJAX package bin folder and in case you want to use VS2008 you should use the dll in the bin35 folder.

i havent got any previous installations installed. the issue was with your setup exe

anyhow just downloaded the zip file then referenced the dll into the toolbox
