    Announcing RadControls for Windows Phone Q3 2012 SP1: Revamped DataForm, ListPicker enhancements and many more

    Q3 2012 SP1 comes as a milestone in the development of RadDataForm. This release introduces significant improvements and enhancements in the control making it entirely revamped. The changes are important because they are inspired by our real-life experience with the control while integrating it in our Tasks application for Windows Phone and other smaller projects. Since some significant breaking changes are introduced with the new RadDataForm upgrades, we strongly recommend anyone who uses the control to take a look at the Release Notes for further information. We are also going to update our online help regarding RadDataForm considering the new APIs.

    Creating a Level Meter with RadRadialGauge

    I received an email from an old buddy on the Windows team at Microsoft, who is using Telerik RadControls for Windows 8 to build an application. He asked how to create a RadRadialGauge with 0 at the center, and negative numbers to the left and positive numbers to the right (click on illustration for full size) for his Level Meter (part of a Synthesizer control). None of the examples show how to do this, but it really only takes setting four properties to get just the effect he was looking for...

    Evolving Simple Wireframes With AppMock

    In an earlier post I introduced the initial wire-frame design for an application that I’ll be creating from scratch in XAML and C#, tentatively named Conference Buddy. As noted in that article, Phil Japikse will be creating the same application in HTML/JavaScript and Michael Crump will be creating the companion application for Windows Phone 8. As we think about and design (and re-design), we’ve switched over to a Telerik AppMockPage1show case application named AppMock , available in the Windows Store.

    Extended Date/Time input with RadControls for Windows 8 Q3 2012 SP1

    We are happy to announce the Service Pack 1 release of our RadControls for Windows 8 suite. Along with the numerous bug fixes and improvements we have also implemented two highly requested new features for our Date/Time Picker components, available both for the XAML and HTML parts of the suite.

    Before the end of the year we release an important update to RadControls for Windows 8. This Service Pack release brings tons of improvements as well as new important features that have been requested by our customers. Such features are Financial Charts (HTML) and Numeric Input in the Date/Time Pickers.
