This occurs in both Firefox and Safari (IE seems fine for the time being).

If you run the sample in safari, you dont get any content area at all (just the toolbars). If you run in firefox, it may or may not load at the correct height, but it you press the HTML button the content area disappears.

Please please please can we have this looked at as a matter of urgency. I've been posting these height problems since the initial release and now we're on the third. I've found workarounds for the previous bugs, but I don't have one for this.

I get a javascript error (object expected) when I click on the MOSS Insert Reusable Content button.
I am using RadEditorSharePoint, Version=4.3.2.0, in a MOSS Publishing Site.
The button works in some sub sites but not in others.

When in the edit properies view (/Pages/Forms/EditForm.aspx) of a page, the default editor is appearing for the HTML field types instead of the telerik editor - how can we change this?
FYI - The telerik editor appears as expected when in normal edit page mode.

Hi Telerik,

I have just upgraded my RadDock from Q1 2007 to Prometheus Q2 2007.

In my old code I had a dockingzone that had dockableobjects with their own dockingzones. This way I get a tree like drag and drop, where I can drag dock objects into other dock objects.

In your newest release I tryed to implement the same functionality, but it does not work. I can drag and drop dock objects in the root zone, but in the parent zones (the ones on the dock objects) I can't drop anyting.

Here is my code:

<asp:ScriptManager ID="_scriptManager" runat="server">
</asp:ScriptManager>

<telerik:RadDockLayout runat="server" ID="_dockLayout">
    <telerik:RadDockZone ID="_questionnaireZone" runat="server" Width="100%" Height="450">
        <telerik:RadDock runat="server" ID="dock1" Title="Dock 1">
        </telerik:RadDock>
        <telerik:RadDock runat="server" ID="RadDock1" Title="Dock with inner Dock Zone">
            <ContentTemplate>

<telerik:RadDockZone runat="server" ID="InnerDockingZone" Height="200">
                    <telerik:RadDock runat="server" ID="RadDock4" Title="Dock 4">
                    </telerik:RadDock>
                    <telerik:RadDock runat="server" ID="RadDock5" Title="Dock 5">
                    </telerik:RadDock>
                </telerik:RadDockZone>
            </ContentTemplate>
        </telerik:RadDock>
        <telerik:RadDock runat="server" ID="RadDock2" Title="Dock 2" >
        </telerik:RadDock>
        <telerik:RadDock runat="server" ID="RadDock3" Title="Dock 3">
        </telerik:RadDock>

</telerik:RadDockZone>
</telerik:RadDockLayout>

Is this a bug in your newest release?

I have a window manager on my page.  When I open the window the first time all of the default properties are enforced (behaviors, etc).

When I try to launch the window the second time none of the behaviors are enforced (there are no buttons at all).

Here is my javascript:

<script>
        function MenuClickHandler(argCommandName)
        {
            var oManager = $find("<%=rwmMainWindowManager.ClientID%>");
            switch (argCommandName)
            {
                case 'AddCustomer':
                    oManager.open('NewCustomer.aspx',argCommandName);
                    break;
                case 'AddUser':
                    oManager.open('NewUser.aspx',argCommandName);
                    break;
                case 'EditUser':
                    oManager.open('EditUser.aspx',argCommandName);
                    break;
                case 'MinimizeAll':
                    oManager.minimizeAll();
                    break;
                case 'Cascade':
                    oManager().cascade();
                    break;
                case 'Tile':
                    oManager().tile();
                    break;
                default:
                    alert("Invalid Command Specified - '" + argCommandName + "'");
                    break;
            }
        }

        function QuickNavHandler(sender, e)
        {
            MenuClickHandler(sender.CommandName);
            return false;
        }
        </script>

Here is the window manager:

<telerik:RadWindowManager ID="rwmMainWindowManager" runat="server" Skin="Vista" EnableEmbeddedSkins="True" DestroyOnClose="true"
        VisibleOnPageLoad="false" OffsetElementID="divWindowLoader" VisibleStatusbar="False" ReloadOnShow="True" />

This does not occur if I do not set "DestroyOnClose" to "True".

Hi, I want to know if is there any way to apply the RadEditor as the default editor.

I know if i active the two features it works for the list, but what I want is the rad editor to work in any part of editing.

Thanks,

Hi

I'm using Visual Studio 2005, C#, ASP.NET AJAX.

I have a page that has controls which can be disabled, e.g., Textbox, etc.

It can also call a RadWindow. After the RadWindow closes, back on the parent page if I move my mouse over a disabled control it will fire an error if the RadWindow DestroyOnClose = "False" (IE7 seems to fire endless mouse-over events).

That error is: Microsoft JScript runtime error: Sys.ArgumentException: Value must be a DOM element. Parameter name: element.

I found a link which suggests that it could be a known Microsoft error: http://forums.asp.net/p/1151199/1918939.aspx#1918939

Please note that this error does not occur if I set the RadWindow DestroyOnClose = "true" (or don't use the RadWindow at all).

However I need to use this RadWindow several times and as such I don't want it destroyed.

I hope this makes sense and I'm happy to provide a code example if needed.

Kind regards

Hi,

I have noticed some odd (repeatable) behaiour in the tootip. Im not sure if its a known bug with the tooltip or may even be a bug with the ajax but ill explain anyway.

I have a portalised website that uses the radtootip as a portal action menu, so to speak.

When the pages scroll bar is scrolled all the way to the top,  the tooltip behaves as Id  expect, mouse  moves in, then moves out and tooltip disappears.

When, however, the pages is scrolled down, even just a fraction, the tooltip disappears when i mouse over ANY of the controls WITHIN the tooltip.

I can post some code if need be.

Cheers in advance

I've have small piece of javascript that inserts the html:

<p><img width="25" height="25" alt="" src="/UserFiles/Image/hb.gif" /></p>

I do this to put "artificial" hard and soft breaks into my html which I can later parse to see if I need to page break at that point.  The problem is that Telerik seems to be rewriting this, depending on whether it is inserted in design mode or in source mode.  Even worse, that changed after the last release to rewrite it differently.

My problem is I need to stick something in the source that will not change.  Can you suggest a way to do this?  I would prefer it just not rewrite my img tag if that is possible

thanks

Under the Prometheus version of radconfirm, the client-side javascript seems to have a problem.  We have a client-side button that triggers the following javascript:

radconfirm('Are you sure?', DeleteActivity, 400, 200, null, 'Delete Class/Activity');

The code that generates the DeleteActivity function on the server looks like this:

ScriptManager.RegisterClientScriptBlock(Page, typeof(String), "DeleteActivity", "function DeleteActivity(arg) { if (arg) { " + ClientScript.GetPostBackEventReference(DeleteActivityControl, "").Replace('\'', '\"') + "; }; };", true);

radconfirm executes the DeleteActivity function, but for some reason on IE 6 the postback reference doesn't post back.  On IE 7 it works fine.

Switching back to the "RadControls for ASP.NET" version of RadWindow seems to resolve the problem and it works on both IE 6 and IE 7.

Any ideas why this is happening?
