Was surprised not to find this in the forum already since it is always a popular topic :)

i'd like to get my radwindow opened full width please.

so far i have this (the second window is the important one):

    <radw:radwindowmanager id="RadWindowManager1" runat="server" Skin="Default2006">
        <Windows>
            <radw:RadWindow ID="statsWindow" runat="server" Title="Message Stats"
                Height="400px" Width="600px" ReloadOnShow="true" Modal="true"
                Skin="Default2006" VisibleStatusbar="false" />
            <radW:RadWindow ID="mailerWindow" runat="server" Title="View Mailer"
                Height="100%" Width="100%" Modal="true" InitialBehavior=Maximize
                Skin="Default2006" VisibleStatusbar="false" />
        </Windows>
    </radW:RadWindowManager>

and open the window in this way:

    <script type="text/javascript">
            function showStats(id, rowIndex)
            {
                var grid = window["<%= RadGrid1.ClientID %>"];

                var rowControl = grid.MasterTableView.Rows[rowIndex].Control;
                grid.MasterTableView.SelectRow(rowControl, true);

                window.radopen("MailSentStats.aspx?nID=" + id, "statsWindow");
                return false;
            }
            function showMailer(id, rowIndex)
            {
                var grid = window["<%= RadGrid1.ClientID %>"];

                var rowControl = grid.MasterTableView.Rows[rowIndex].Control;
                grid.MasterTableView.SelectRow(rowControl, true);

                window.radopen("MailViewer.aspx?nID=" + id, "mailerWindow");
                return false;
            }
    </script>

i've tried various settings for the height, width and initialbehaviour without any success (on IE7 and firefox).
thanks,
rob

Hi Guys,

I am Just playing around with the RadStyleSheetManager and RadScriptManager  ( Prometheus Q3 SP1).

I used “<asp:ScriptReference>” to reference my own script with “asp:scriptmanager>” . But for the RadScriptManager what do I use. I can’t find any kind of documentation on this. I used  “<asp:ScriptManager>” and it works! The RadScriptManager doesn’t provide any intellisence help to add those tags?

When combine the scripts using RadScript manager it combines all my own scripts as well when I put my script under “Scriptreference”. Is possible to make scripts in each script tags combined separately?

Is it possible to combine the scripts of a rad control separately from another rad control. For an example if I have a radGrid and a radEditor, I should get two different combined scripts.

How do I add my own style sheet to the RadStyleSheetManager? Like I asked for RasScriptManager, is it possible to combine my own CSS file separate from Rad Control s. And Is it possible to combine the style of a rad control separately from another rad control?

I would like see to more flexibility with Rad Style and script managers, otherwise it will look like another ajax toolkit manager!

Cheer,

Shane

The bugs I'm finding in the Telerik controls are starting to become a little tedious.

I have the very latest version of Prometheus (2007.3.1314.35) and getting the above error when making an ajax call.

Here's the content that throws the error:
<tr id="RAD_SPLITTER_PANE_TR_ContentPane">
    <td id="ContentPane" valign="top" class="paneHorizontal lastItem" style="width:811px;height:160px;border-width:1px;"><div id="RAD_SPLITTER_PANE_CONTENT_ContentPane"  class='ContentPane'  style="width:811px;height:160px;overflow:auto;">
<div id="RadAjaxPanel1Panel">
        <div id="RadAjaxPanel1" style="height:200px;width:300px;">

                            <div id="previewContainer" style="width: 100%; height: 100%;">
                                <div id="previewLeft" style="float: left; width: 54%">
                                 <span id="lblDocumentName" class="documentName">1 Party Object</span>

                                 <br /><label for="">Version:</label> <span id="lblUserVersion">v1</span>
                                 <br /><label for="">System Version:</label> <span id="lblSysVersion">3</span>

                                 <br /><label for="">Last modified by:</label> <span id="lblModBy">System Administrator</span> on <span id="lblModDate">14/11/2009</span>
                                 <br /><label for="">Created by:</label> <span id="lblCreateBy">System Administrator</span> on <span id="lblCreateDate">14/11/2007</span>
                                 <br /><a id="btnOpenDoc" href="javascript:__doPostBack('btnOpenDoc','')">Open</a>
                                 </div>
                                 <div id="previewRight" style="float:left; width: 45%;">
                                 <img id="imgPreview" src="images/repository/docpreviews/(local)SQLEXPRESS/b939696a-05de-460b-b38c-24ee42fc8d50.png" style="border-width:0px;" />
                                </div>
                            </div>

        </div>
    </div>
                                </div><input id="ContentPane_ClientState" name="ContentPane_ClientState" type="hidden" /></td>
</tr>

I've already removed <p> tags as this is a known (and serious) bug with your controls. I have also tried putting my code inside and outside an ajax panel!

I'm starting to pull my hair out. A simple task such as updating labels in an ajax request is becoming a nightmare.

Please respond ASAP.

Hello,

I am opening up a radalert via serverside (see below) and the radalert opens up in the top left corner.  How can I get the radalert to center?

Thanks

injectScript.Text = string.Format("<script type='text/javascript'>ShowAlert('Error', 'An error occurred, please contact your system admin.  Error Info: '{0}' ');</script>", ex);

<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">
            function ShowAlert(title, message)
            {
                window.setTimeout(function()
                {
                    radalert(message, 300, 300, title);},0)
            }
    </script>

Hello,

I m using grouping of grid.

I know we can freeze colums in mastertableview when doing horizontal scrolling.
My question is if I can set the group header item as frozen when users do vertical scrolling.
That would be nice if it's possible!

Hi,

I was just looking thorugh the help file for Prometheus Q3 to check the client side events and found an amusing page. You can get to it by seaching for "Client Size Events" in the index. This brings up a popup windo of 3 items. The 3rd goes to the page below:

ms-help://telerik.radcontrols.prometheus.2007.Q3/telerik.radcontrols.prometheus.2007.Q3/Client-Side%20Events.html

:-)

Hi there, I have a RadGrid Prometheus bound to and ODS that returns a DataSet. However this DataSet sometimes comes without some of the columns that are predefined in the grid which shows "System.Data.DataRowView" where the column data would be. How can I instruct the RadGrid to detect and hide this missing columns ?

Thanks!!

Hello!

I am currently following your drag and drop example and it works really well,
but I want to give my users the option of either being able to drag and drop nodes onto a grid, or just double clicking it and it will automatically go straight a grid.

I know I can use, "onClientDoubleClick" but how do I make this run the handledrop function?

Thanks

Bex

Hello, I was referencing this KB article --- http://www.telerik.com/support/kb/article/b454K-ggk-b454T-cec-b454c-cec.aspx --- (which was very helpful) showing how to open one RadWindow from another.  I definitely like the method of opening the second window making the main form the parent.  But if you do that, how does that first RadWindow capture when the second window is closed (in case data was updated in the 2nd window and display needs to be updated in the 1st)?

For example, you open a RadWindow from the main application form to show info about a user.  The data is displayed in a read-only format.  To edit, you click an "Edit" button which opens a second RadWindow.  If data is saved there, the first RadWindow needs to know to update data from the database.  But all the while, the main application form is the parent to both RadWindows.

Can you help?

Hi there,

I was just wondering... what happened to SetMaxRequestQueueSize on Prometheus' AjaxManager?
Did it just go away or are there any alternatives?

Thanks,
Paulo
