[Solved] Double click a node and add the node to a grid

Hello!

I am currently following your drag and drop example and it works really well,
but I want to give my users the option of either being able to drag and drop nodes onto a grid, or just double clicking it and it will automatically go straight a grid.

I know I can use, "onClientDoubleClick" but how do I make this run the handledrop function?

Thanks for the reply! How does it pick up the dropping then isn't it using javascript? can this not some how just be used in the double click?

Hi Bexm,

The Drag And Drop to grid example uses the OnClientNodeDropping event that is fired prior to the server NodeDrop event. The OnClientDoubleClicking event is fired separately from the client and server events related to the Drag And Drop operation. Therefore, you cannot force a drag and drop upon double clicking a node.
