Different type of Events to attach for RadEditor

Hi,

What are different type of Events those can be attached to the RadEditor?
like editor.AttachEventHandler ("RADEVENT_SEL_CHANGED", function() {});

Please let me know where can i found the list of events and their descriptions and also the list of methods supported by RadEditor.

Edit Template control events in dynamic user control

Hello,

I have a grid in a dynamically generated user control. The user control is generated in a content page. I have buttons and a dropdown that are displayed in EditItemTemplate when the form is in EditMode. I have tried to attach event handlers for the buttons and the indexchange event of the dropdown but it is not working. I am putting the event handlers in the code behind of the user control. I want to try to put the event handlers in the code behind of the content page but how can I know when the grid is in edit mode when I am in the content page. Also, how would I access the controls in the EditItemTemplate from the content page? Do you have some sample code that does this? Any ideas would help.

Upload dialog won't display in Opera

I have a relatively simple upload control:

<telerik:radupload id="multipleUpload" runat="server" initialfileinputscount="5" enablefileinputskinning="true" maxfilesize="0" skin="WebBlue" InputSize="50" Width="475px" ControlObjectsVisibility="None" />

Everything works fine in IE and Firefox, but in Opera, clicking the Select button doesn't open up a file browser. Suggestions?

Validation (Empty - Invalid)

Hello!

I need to create a validator that fires if i enter an invalid string (e.g. "abcd")
but does not fire if i enter an empty string.

I know that the SelectionChanged Event fires only if a valid date is entered.
Thus if i create a CustomValidator e.Value is empty even if an invalid string is entered e.g. "abcd".

I tried the approach with clientside validation but in this case the args.InputText Property of the OnError event is "UNDEFINED". (the event is fired but args.InputText is undefined)

For me the best case would be the validation would work server side. (so i am not looking for a javascript solution to my problem).

[Solved] change datasource of GridDropDownColumn

Hi,

I have a GridDropDownColumn. There are two datasources. (objectdatasource1 and objectdatasource2)

The GridDropDownColumn by default uses objectdatasource1, however, for inserts, it is to use objectdatasource2.

How do I get control of GridDropDownColumn (just for the insert row GridDropDownColumn item) to point to objectdatasource2?

NestedViewTemplate - enable and customize

What are the steps to enable and customize the NestedViewTemplate? In the examples provided it seems that you have to type everything.

I want to choose which fields show up, remove paging, add edit button, etc... in the template designer thru Visual Studio 2008.

Also is this the best way to show the "detailed view" of a gridview? Or is there a better way?

Ajax in my UserControls running in an Ajaxmngr Form

I have made UCtls of my forms, and use them / load them from my "ContentPane" ex my Navigation Pane.

Q. Since many of these forms have dropdown list boxes and Grids in them (Update-able RadGrids) etc,..
can these still retain ajax functionality and if so ..what should I do?

Newly selected row in the grid

On grid, we have "OnSelectedIndexChanged" server side event, but how about OnSelectedIndexChanging"?

In other words, is there an either a client side or server side event that would give me if a new row has been selected "BEFORE" row change occured - with previously selected row # and the row that is going to be selected?

ParentItem Columns from RadGrid1_UpdateCommand

Manager not displaying properly

I was having a web.config problem before, I managed to resolve that by getting the correct File Version numbers in the web.config.
Now - It's not appearing completely. It looks like the 'background' isn't loading.
http://www.smibackoffice.com/broken.JPG shows what is happening. (I don't see ow to make images show in here)
This happens with the link./document/image/ect managers. The same 'missing background'.

I've uploaded the scripts and skins folders, as well as the data into the App_Data and App_GlobalResources.

I'm at a loss of what to try next. Suggestions?
