Hi,

I have been using Rad Editor in my application. I used it with no toolbars.

I have upgraded to Rad Ajax Rad Editor now. And it has some extra space around the borders of editor.

Those are all some 'wrapper' TDs. I really need to get rid of them. Is there any way you can propose?

ContextMenu in ajax treeview seemingly ignored

Hi, I can't get your Treeview ContextMenu to work under prometheus, have tried another thread for XML loading so now using straight code (another thread has working example using declarative control-side contextmenus, so at least I know that works!).

Using similar code to the help file, can see the population code runs fine through debug, however on the page there is nothing on a right-click (although it looks like they're in the javascript).

Why does

node.ContextMenuID = "cntxMenuUserGroup"

seem to be ignored? I tried swapping in "UGM_UserGroup" in case of helpfile error but still same.

Combo Boxes on MultiPage - Duplicate values

I have a tabstrip and a number of multipages. On these multipages are various controls.
The tabstrip is used as a wizard type system, i.e the first (Multipage) has to be posted back, before the 2nd multipage (and second tab) is enabled and so on.
The problem is, on each multipage, I have various RadCombo boxes, which are attached to object datasources, taken from my BLL.
On any of the multipages apart from the Initial one, the combo boxes contain duplicate values.

Does anyone know why this is?

Add/Remove RadGrid from PlaceHolder

I have a web form that I would like to show multiple RadGrids each with a different data source. Only one grid should be displayed at a time depending on a user action. I've been able to get this to work using Ajax but with multiple PlaceHolders. I just make the unneeded PlaceHolders visible=false. I would like to use a single PlaceHolder.

I'm building my grid structure and setting up ajax programmatically. So, in the Page_Init I build the grid structure for all my grids. I need to do this because in Page_Load I'm adding all the ajax settings to the controls, otherwise all the controls will be null.

When the user action occurs I clear the PlaceHolder, build the specific grid, and add the new grid to the PlaceHolder. The problem is the previous grid is still there and the two grids appear, not just the recent one. It seems like the RadGrid is not clearing from the PlaceHolder when I do this.PlaceHolder1.Controls.Clear().

Any ideas?

How to set the datasource of amstertableview and detailsview to same thing?

The problem is normally the details takes a collection object from the parent which is fine in most cases but in this case I have an object for example

class person
{
string name
string job
string description
}

And I want each row to show NAME and JOB and when I expand that row
to should the details I want to show DESCRIPTION.

Is there any easy way to have the detailstable have access to get the DESCRIPTION?

Hoping there is a cleaner way that using onDataBinding and reassign the datasource?

[Solved] WebBlue Padding on Menu

I'm using the menu control with the WebBlue skin as well as a css class to make some minor adjustments to it (you guys provided the css class to me). Here's the code below:

Edit command makes grid disappear.

I have a very simple scenario here, with a Tab strip with two tabs, that changes the datasource of a grid (so it would load different categories of products for example). I am trying to get this to work, and it seems to go well until I click edit to edit a row, because then the whole grid disappears.

Can someone please help me with this. It is very simple I am sure.Where am I going wrong?

image of loading panel does not "animate"

I have wrapped a few controls (labels and a radgrid) in a RadAjaxPanel and set the LoadingPanelID to the ID of a RadAjaxLoadingPanel on the same page.

When the grid is updated the image appear alright, but it does not animate.

This happens regardless if I use either method below:

UserControls inside of Doc Zone's

I have got 2 user control on the same page, and they can communicate together. However, when i put them inside the doc zones they stop working, and all that is accessible is the actual rad control rather then the actual controls inside it also. is there anyway to get at the controls inside them?

Edit Template Menu - Limited Item Count

I just noticed, while attempting to edit the templates of my doubly nested table, that the 'Edit Template' submenu will only display 15 items, with no way to scroll to more.
I have, 19 items, and as of right now, I can't see the 4 template columns of my deepest table.

I tested that it is a limit, and not my items not being there, by removing 2 items that were visible, and 2 that weren't visible before showed.
Or - am I going insane and have a broken version of visual studio?

Any tips/pointers on how to get more/all the items to display?
