DDD! Sydney Wrap-up

After the success of the DDD! Melbourne event last month, Telerik sponsored the DDD! Sydney (#dddsydney on Twitter) this weekend. The DeveloperDeveloperDeveloper! conference is driven by the community, meaning that everyone can submit a topic and the people vote for their favorites. In DDD! Sydney there were 4 tracks of great content about HTML5, Web, ALM and Other running in parallel. I could not attend all of them, however those I could gave me a plenty of new information and inspiration. Thank you Colorado and Arizona

[Cross Posted from skimedic.com] I was invited to speak in Colorado and Arizona for three user groups, and it was a great time! I kicked off the trip in Colorado Springs at the South Colorado .NET Users Group ran by Ben Hoelting, a fellow MVP and a friend of mine that also speaks at VSLive. We had a great chat with an overview of Uncle Bob Martin’s SOLID Principles, and then spent the majority of the time discussion software patterns and where they would make sense in the real world. Windows Phone Garage Events

There will be two Windows Phone Garages in South Carolina next week. Join Glen Gordon, Chris Craft, and myself on June 16th in Columbia, SC, or join Glen Gordon, Chris G. Another Great CodeStock

Last week marked another great CodeStock, a two day developer conference in Knoxville, TN. The organizer, Michael Neel, does a great job of juggling the speakers, schedule, and venue, and the show continues to get better and better!
