Changes in RadInput in Q2 2012 version of RadControls

As you already know we have introduced new rendering model for RadInput in Q3 2011. It was later set as default mode in Q1 2012. The initial idea behind this change was to remove 2 of the input elements from the output HTML of the control and use a span that to overlay the visible one in order to show the formatted value. With this approach we really have fewer elements on the page and in the same time we could show, validate and submit different values. We also removed the table in order to provide better styling potential and boost...

RadImageButton: A new control for Windows Phone in Q2 2012

Today we are going to present one of the new additions to our Windows Phone Controls Suite: RadImageButton. This control inherits from the native Button, so it has all of its properties and events that you are familiar with. Improved Navigation in JustCode

One of Telerik JustCode’s most valuable features – its quick code navigation, recently got even better. We decided to re-think the way our Camel Case Searcher works. Our main priorities were to deliver more than expected, show you what’s expected on top ASAP, and greatly improve searching flexibility – we did all that. Camel Case Searching allows you to quickly find entities by typing either their acronyms or parts of the words that are contained in it. When you use capital letters, or separating symbols, JustCode will try to match them with the word beginnings; splitting your search text with spaces...

Introducing Item Reorder in RadDataBoundListBox for Windows Phone (video included)

Being one of the first controls in the RadControls for Windows Phone suite, RadDataBoundListBox has been continuously extended and eventually evolved into a powerful, must-have component for each Windows Phone application. Providing features like Data Virtualization, Multiple Selection, Item Animations, this control can easily be set up to fit into many application scenarios and handle much of the work one would have to do using just the native components. Q2 2012 comes with some further enhancements one of which is the support for reordering the items in the control. The Item Reorder functionality allows your end users to change the position of the items in the...
