RadControls for Windows Phone 7 Mango and Q2 2011 (NoDo) SP1 are now available

In mid-August, sometime after the Q2 2011 release, we upgraded RadControls for Windows Phone 7 to support Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) and released an official build that contains some major performance improvements in RadDataBoundListBox and also all major controls that were introduced back then with Q2 2011: RadChart RadCalendar RadBusyIndicator Enough time has passed for us to gather some very valuable feedback from you to prepare a Service Pack which addresses some critical issues, introduces a new control (RadBulletGraph) and a meaty new feature in our powerful RadChart. Keeping with tradition, I will write a simple “Hello World” and see how it goes. Step 1: Load Visual Studio Sounds easy, right? Remember this is Windows...

A bad picture is worth a thousand long discussions.

A blog by Doug Seven, Executive Vice President at Telerik. (Original post here) While here at Build I’ve been in lots of conversations with customers, other attendees, Microsoft MVP’s, Microsoft Regional Directors, and Microsoft engineering team members. One of the recurring topics that I’ve been talking about ad nausium is the “boxology” diagram of the Windows 8 Platform and Tools (shown here). Now let me tell you, I have drawn a lot of these “marketecture” diagrams in my time and its not easy. These kind of diagrams are never technically accurate. There is simply no easily digestible way to make a technically accurate diagram for a complex system...
