Vue Date Inputs Overview

The Kendo UI for Vue Date Inputs enable the user to pick up dates for scheduling appointments.

The Date Inputs components are part of the Kendo UI for Vue library which provides native Kendo UI components for the Vue ecosystem and are available under the kendo-vue-dateinputs NPM package.

Calendar

A component for date selection and navigation.

DateInput

An input field which recognizes and formats values as dates.

DateRangePicker

A set of directives and components which provide date-range selection.

DatePicker

A component which allows the fast selection of date values.

DateTimePicker

A component which allows the fast selection of date and time values.

MultiView Calendar

A configuration of the Calendar component that renders multiple month views and provides date selection and navigation.

TimePicker

A component for selecting time values from a time-list.

Installation

To initialize the Date Inputs, either:

Use the CDN service, or
Use Webpack.

Using CDN

To use the Kendo UI for Vue Date Inputs with CDN, follow the below steps:

Reference the dateinput and intl packages.

Follow the instructions in this article to activate your product license. You can skip this step if your application already contains a license key.

Initializing with Webpack

Download and install the package. Use Node.js v5.0.0 or later.

npm install --save @progress/kendo-vue-dateinputs @progress/kendo-vue-intl

Once installed, import the package module.
