Hello

We are in the process of implementing Kendo UI for Angular2 and using chart of series type Donut and Bar (pills) in my web application  in Angular2.

I want to know how I control the speed of animation (dramatically slow it down) while populating the chart with data. Is there any way to make the charts animate more slowly (like a chart animation speed/duration)? When loading a single chart on a webpage,  we would like it to be slower so the user can actually see the donut / Bar being populated

Is it possible to get some working demo or API Reference with example which demonstrate how to control animation speed.

We are currently using currently:
Kendo UI   : (2016 R3)
Kendo UI (charts) : "@progress/kendo-angular-charts": "^0.10.3",
Angualr 2:    "@angular/core": "2.2.4",

Regards

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Kendo UI for Angular 2.

This is a new and separate product, currently in beta stage and free for use and community preview. We will release a commercial offering in 2017 and that will also include dedicated support service.

In the meantime, the Community & Support page outlines the available options to receive technical assistance via StackOverflow or Telerik Professional Services, or report issues in our kendo-angular2 GitHub repository, or submit feature requests in our UserVoice Portal.

Stay tuned and keep an eye on our Kendo UI for Angular 2 site and the roadmap, the Telerik blogs (specifically, the Kendo UI Product Manager posts) and GitHub repository for updates.

Sorry but could you simply not have provided a simple answer like: "We are in Beta, as such animation speed is not supported at this time"

Unless you are not interested in Beta testers?

More Meaningful answer would be much appreciated. Especially since we pay for support

Hello,

Kendo UI for Angular 2 is a separate product that is free and currently not included as part of your paid subscription, so please use the support options that I listed in my previous response - as I believe they will work equally well.

As for the animation - currently the speed/duration cannot be controlled and the same is valid for the jQuery charts as well.
