Hi,

I have 120 odd days left on my current subscription and I was under the impression that when Prometheus went into production that I (as an ASP.Net) subscriber would be able to get the production version.

I do not see an option under "My Client" -> "My Purchases" to download the final release of what is now ASP.New Ajax.

Am I missing something?

Hello Jon,

I checked your account and everything seems fine to me. Please refer to the attached screenshot for details on where to download the Q1 2008 suite from.

Thanks,

When I checked yesterday, the Prometheus option was not available under "my purchases" but was under "my trials".

Today it looks like it is correct.  I see the option to download Promethius now under "my purchases".

Thanks.

do we all have to request this to be added in our account?  If so, that doesn't make any sense.

I need this in my account also. It's only visible in "My Free Trials".

Hi Scott,

Actually, there's no need to request this from us (Telerik), but from the person responsible for your company's purchase. Here's the situation. We have four product lines:

  • RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX
  • RadControls for ASP.NET
  • Telerik Reporting
  • RadControls for WinForms
If you are added (from the person responsible for your company's purchase) as a licensed developer to RadControls for ASP.NET only, you won't have access from your Client.net account to the rest of the product lines.

That said, I would suggest you contact Adam Kozul and ask him to add your e-mail to the list of licensed developers to the needed product lines.

Greetings,
Paul

Hi Massimo,

I checked your account and noticed that you do not have a valid Subscription. Here's a quote from our Purchases FAQ page:

What are the advantages of the License with Subscription?

The Subscription and Source Code License is the best choice for professional developers. Below you will find the reasons why our customers prefer this licensing option:

- 1 Year Subscription - enjoy a full year of free updates and take advantage of the latest and greatest Telerik products. Telerik has the most aggressive product roadmap releasing new products and updates 3 times per year, see Product Roadmap
. The subscription renewal price is only 50% of the list price of the Subscription License.

- Source Code: the license provides you with full C# and JavaScript source code.

- Gold Support Package: As a Subscription holder you get our Gold Support Package
which guarantees that your support inquiries will be answered within 24h.

All the above benefits are not available with the standard Developer License. If you purchase a license without subscription you will not receive major product updates and new product releases, redistribution rights for packaged products or source code. The license without subscription comes with Silver Support Package
 - the guaranteed response time is 48h.

For details on the matter please contact our Sales Department.

Kind regards,
Paul
