Filtering selection bug?

Hello,

I am trying to use a radgrid (2008.1.415.35) with the Office 2007 skin. Everything works great, except when I enable filtering. When I click on the filter icon for one of the columns, the filter selections jump to the top of the page and I am unable to click anything. I do not have anyting custom on the grid. I simply dragged the grid to the aspx page, attached a datasource, picked the Office 2007 skin, and enabled filtering.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? I am happy to share the code I am using or a screenshot of the problem.

[Solved] RadAjaxPanel Error

I am having trouble with a RadTreeView on a RadAjaxPanel. When any events are fired (say, NodeEdit) and handled on the server, I get a PageRequestManagerParserErrorException. I have read the posts related to this but none seem to apply. I am getting the following error:

Microsoft JScript runtime error: Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerParserErrorException: The message received from the server could not be parsed. Common causes for this error are when the response is modified by calls to Response.Write(), response filters, HttpModules, or server trace is enabled.
Details: Error parsing near 'ipConfigure ESM 4.53'.

When I look at the response from the server it starts with:

ipConfigure ESM 4.53918|updatePanel|RadAjaxPanel1Panel|<div id="RadAjaxPanel1" style="height:200px;width:300px;">

I can only assume that this is the source of the problem, but I am not sure how to correct it. Any help would be appreciated.

RadToolTipManager Error

Hi,
We are trying to use Telerik RadToolTipManager in Rad Grid and our Grid has 5 columns and number of rows returning from database is 322,So when we tried to use this,a popup message was displayed is

Stop Running this script.
A script on this page is causing Interner Explorer to run Slowly,If it continues to run ,Your computer may become unresponsive.

It is working fine if I have few rows,So Please go through this problem and let me know what should I do for solving this problem?

Built-in Skins

I am using the Q3 ajax version and I read this:
http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/howskinswork.html

It provides a list of skins.

The list includes Forest, #13, which isn't in the embedded skins, it appears. And doesn't include Default2006, which is.

Default row

Hi,

Can any one tell me how to make first row in the rad grid as default selected?

My requirement is once the grid was bound to the data, the first row should be highlighted as selected.

I am using skin web20. So for me the first row should be appeared in green color which indicates that it was selected already.

[Solved] Grid Automatic Resize

First of all, we have a page with a lot of dynamic content in which we would like to automatically size to the size of the window. Using nested radSplitter elements we can size several things dynamically. However, initial load of this setup is very slow. For performance reasons we have decided to construct a custom made dynamic panel with just the limited functionality we are looking for. Inside one of our nested dynamic panels is a RadGrid which is set to height and width of 100%. When the screen dynamically sizes, the div tag containing the grid resizes and you can see the grid border (black line) jump to the bottom of its container. This is correct. However, the grid does not resize at this time (the header and grid content are still the same size). It is not until the next rezie that the grid grows or shrinks. It seems that there is some auto resize javascript running on the grid which is not firing at the correct time. Is there a way to force a resize of the grid via javascript or is there another way around this problem?

The RadHTMLField AjaxSpellChecker translate problem

Hi,

I'm trying to translate the RadHTMLField AjaxSpellChecker to Spanish. I've translated the RadSpell.Dialog ( to the es-ES version), SpellDialog.xml and the RadSpell.xml, Also i've set up the configfile.xml language to es-ES. All the dialogs have changed to spanish but the ajaxspellcheker dialogs allways appears in English.
Any ideas?
