Hello,
I have a few fields and a button. When the end user clicks the button I query the database and fill the grid.
However if I use of the sort or filter features I lose all the date in the gird.
I recorded a video explaining what the problem is. [ gridLosesData_demo.htm]
does any one have an tips they recommend here?

Hi,
Currently when there is a server error, we only get a message saying Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: An unknown error occurred while processing the request on the server. The status code returned from the server was: 500.
We need the actual error message.

Yep you guessed it does not display centered!!!
a) The designer displays correctly,
b) the control I am consider replacing displays correctly..
Rad menu breaks..
c) What appears to be arbitary, some of the menu items will become centered inside the MenuItems even though the menu is not affected!!
Fiddling with the tagged div css also does nothing..
These very basic gotchas are being to be a real worry..

Hi,
In my project I add a image on column's header to let user group or ungroup current column, in the same time I add some javascript to call Grid's client API fireCommand("UnGroupByColumn", "") and fireCommand("GroupByColumn", "") on these image's click event, when I click one columns' groupping image, grid will group or ungroup on this column.
Currently groupping image's behavior is: [Group] -> [UnGroup] -> [Group] -> ..., Now, I want to midify their behavior with: [Group ascending] -> [Group descending] -> [UnGroup]
So, how I can implement this function?
I hope Grid's fireCommand can support the following function:
fireCommand("GroupByColumn", "ContactName DESC");

Hi,
I would like to wrap the nodes in the treeview (Sharepoint). I have verified using the method mentioned at here

Hi,
Currently in our project we have a RAD grid with nested view template which contains the detail table with grid. According to our requirement we need to show only one row expanded at time. i.e automatically other row should get collapsed.
Is there a way to keep track of which are the detail tables that are open and then while opening the new detail table, i will try to collapse the other.
Any help would be a great favour.

Hi,
My website has 3 level menu all together. On the top main navigation menu, I only want to display the top 2 level of the menu, so I set the property of the Radmenu control maxdatabinddepth="2". The problem is when the third level menu item is selected (from the side menu), my top menu doesn't get highlighted. How can I set the top menu to display just the top 2 level and still get highlighted when the 3rd level item is selected?
Obviously it would work if I set maxdatabinddepth="3" but I dont want to show the 3rd level menu on the top.
Please advice.

Herewith i have used the Tree view like the country details.. when i was cliked the node that time node added successfully like
India, Usa , Aus.. when the post back the page that time the display items is disapper... for example i made valdiation for insert page... ok.. i selected the nodes... and i forget the one required filed... that time i click the button the page asked the please type requird items but the selected node display items is disapper.... Let me know how can i handle this javascripts problems

If i click the country node.. it showing the dropdown items... when i was cliking the first drop down it is not postback the page when i was click the state that time the page will be post pack and also first drodown display items is disapper becasuse hereiwith i have used the javascripts for selected node options ...
