Hello,

I was wondering if there's a quick way to bypass Image Manager to upload and insert images into the editor?

Basically we need:
- Upload button right on Toolbar of Editor instead of inside the Image Manager
- That button opens the "Upload dialog" as normal but limit user to upload 1 file only if possible
- Uploads to location set in "UploadPaths" directory
- Once clicked "Upload" button in Upload dialog; it will automatically Insert also as if you pressed "Insert" in Image Manager.
- Then puts Image inline with text in Editor.

I can't seem to find how ImageManager.ascx access the upload dialog so I can't change it to work this way.  I appreciate any help on this.

Thanks.

Hello,

    I am using VS 2008, Telerik ASP.NET 2009.2 .

    I want to know how to get rid of the style="width:125px"  value.

    I have a web site that has its own skin and layouts.

    I want to use all the features in my own skin, with imply size limits to input field.
    Unfortunately, when I try to force the size of the inputs with a css class. Telerik adds
    a   'Style="width:125" ' after the class, which forces the field size to be based on this parameters.

    That happens basically in all types of input, some with different sizes. How can I get rid of this
    value and force telerik to use only the values on the classes I am using.

     I know I can add a style to the skin, replacing the default behavior. That  hinders the benefit of
     having several class with different sizes on the classes, allowing me to have different standardized fields.
     here is an example
<div>
<span id="ctl00_Body_SalesBrokerCommission_wrapper" class="RadInput RadInput_Telerik" style="white-space: nowrap;">
<input id="ctl00_Body_SalesBrokerCommission_text" class="riTextBox riEnabled large" type="text" style="width: 125px;" tabindex="7" name="ctl00_Body_SalesBrokerCommission_text" value="5.00 %"/>
<input id="ctl00_Body_SalesBrokerCommission" class="rdfd_" type="text" value="5" style="border: 0pt none ; margin: -18px 0pt 0pt; padding: 0pt; overflow: hidden; visibility: hidden; width: 1px; height: 1px;"/>
<input id="ctl00_Body_SalesBrokerCommission_Value" class="rdfd_" type="text" value="5" name="ctl00$Body$SalesBrokerCommission" style="border: 0pt none ; margin: -18px 0pt 0pt; padding: 0pt; overflow: hidden; visibility: hidden; width: 1px; height: 1px;"/>
<input id="ctl00_Body_SalesBrokerCommission_ClientState" type="hidden" name="ctl00_Body_SalesBrokerCommission_ClientState" autocomplete="off"/>
</span>

      Thanks,

Joao,

Hi there,

Currently I'm facing an issue with RadAjaxPanel.
The page wraps amCharts component using  <asp:UpdatePanel /> and it works fine to support AJAX request.
And the rest of telerik controls work as well.
But once I changed <asp:UpdatePanel /> using <telerik:RadAjaxPanel />, the amCharts component no longer can be loaded.
The amCharts is a flash component and it uses SWFobject javascript to load it.

Do you have any idea on how to fix it?
For reference: http://www.amcharts.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=700

Thanks

I have read on a couple of blogs that the RadGridView allows the developer to programmatically set the FilterDescriptors property in order to bypass the UI filtering options on the grid.

As far as I can see, this property is absent on the regular ASP.NET MVC Grid control.

Are there any plans to add this functionality?  Or is there some other way I can achieve the same result?

Hi,

Is there an upgrade path from RadControls for ASP.net to RadControls for ASP.net Ajax or do I need to purchase them all over again?

Thanks,

So I  have a rad grid inside a modal rad dock with z-index of 9001 to cover a rad menu.  Basically I am trying to figure out how to set the z-index of the page size drop down so it doesn't appear behind the rad dock.
Any Ideas??

Thx,

Nate

hi
i've noticed, in the previous version of rad controls there were two enum types available in the RecurrenceState. One was Occurrence and the second was Occurence. However, in the new release, Occurence (with single 'r') is not available.
Whats the difference between these two? or are they same but with a spelling mistake?

thanks
