tooltip that prevents a user from opening an external browser window

hiya,

I have links on a site, some of them are to external sites.

I need to prevent a user from opening an external browser window until they have read and acknowledged that it is an external site.

I was thinking of using a tooltip but then realised that the user might have clicked the link before the tooltip kicks in.

Is it possible to disable the link and only allow the user to proceed when they've clicked "yes/no" within the tooltip?

Any suggestions?

It seems trickier than I first thought.

Ajax tooltip with asp:button

I have an asp:button with an OnCommand event.

In the code behind I'd like to Validate the page and return either the tooltip (and show it) or do some other processing.

How do I go about returning the tooltip and showing it ?

Override font used to display content

Is there a way to override the font used to display the content of the editor. I'd like it to match the same font style i use for my textboxes.

I've tried applying various styles via my own stylesheet to override it while using the "Vista" skin overall but this doesn't work. The font seems to default to a large one, noticeably larger than in my other fields on teh page.

RadMaskedTextbox Binding

I have a RadMaskedTextbox that I would like to use for phone numbers, but a lot of the data in the database uses various formats. Is there a field that has the bound value without the mask applied? Numbers appear to be getting dropped from the Text property once the mast is applied.

Dialog problems with custom Skin

Hello,

i have a problem with RadEditor using cutom skins when opening some dialogs. For example when trying to open LinkManager the following error occures:

Telerik.Web.UI.Editor.ApplyClassDropDown with ID='LinkCssClass' was unable to find embedded skin with name 'Quisa'. Please, make sure that you spelled the skin name correctly, or if you want to use a custom skin, set EnableEmbeddedSkins=false.

this also happens with some other dialog, for example table properties..

the code for the RadEditor this happens is:

wouldn't let me add, edit or delete.

AppointmentCreatedEventArgs and AppointmentUpdateEventArgs are not part of the using Telerik.Web.UI;

and when I remove that part this error message shows up.

CS0117: 'Telerik.Web.UI.Resource' does not contain a definition for 'Available'

How would I update my sqldatasource with the scheduler?

Appointment CSS

Hi,
I would like to have a different css (color, background) for each status of an appointment in my application: Booked, Confirmed, Rejected etc
How this can be achieved?
I've seen a demo on your website but is there another approach?
I mean on AppointmentCreated event can it be possible to custom code and retrieve a different css based on CSS file ?

RadAjaxManager AjaxUpdatedControl via Code

I am trying to replicate this example:
http://www.telerik.com/demos/aspnet/Controls/Examples/Integration/Ajax/TreeView/DefaultCS.aspx?product=treeview

but i am trying to use master pages and also to place the code in a control. Due to the fact that the RadAjaxManager1 is in the master page it cannot see the RadTreeView controls. Below is an extract from the example showing how it is done without using c# code:

RadDockZone z-index messing with SlidingPane

Hi guys, first off the new controls seem great, however ima having a small snag with a RadDockZone inside a RadSplitter, the idea is that you have a radSplitter with two columns, in the left a sliding pane, and in the right, two RadDockZone controls, the Slider should overlap the dockzones however it seems like the z-index for the dockzone is way too high, is there a fix or can you guys shed any light, cheers guys, this is really putting a downer on my plans

Using MS Ajax toolkit in template

There is a MS Slider Extender used in my AdvancedInsertTemplate of the Scheduler. The finding indicates that the error messages ,the object reference is not an object execution instance, is always shown if enabling the Ajax feature of the Scheduler in RadAjaxManager. However, it is disappearred if removing the Ajax configuration.

Could someone point me in the direction of how to solve this?
