Hi,

We are using the full version of the MOSS editor. We have installed it successfully using the Site Scope from the "Change Rad Editor features Scope" Section of the documentation and we have also changed to medium trust in the web.config.

Everything on the editor works except for the ImageManager and Document manager (and probably the others that upload) which throws an error:

In a data entry form I placed several comboboxes.

I also had two in an updatepanel which becomes visible dependant on input.

No problems.

After setting the skins of the original combos (outside the updatepanel) to "Vista" the ones in the updatepanel break and do not display even their default skin correctly.

Setting the combos in the updatepanel to Vista too, and everything is fine again.

So in summary, changing the original combo's skin property to anything from the default and not doing the same to those in the updatepanel broke the display of those in the updatepanel.

Don't need assistance as this is not causing me a problem, just a bug I noticed whilst coding.

If I create the most simple example enabling drag and drop and include an iframe, the drag and drop does not work. It does not work in that you cannot pick up the item in the tree.

<%@ Page Language="vb" AutoEventWireup="false" CodeBehind="DragAndDrop.aspx.vb" Inherits="IPSCWebClient.DragAndDrop" %>
<%@ Register assembly="Telerik.Web.UI" namespace="Telerik.Web.UI" tagprefix="telerik" %>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" >
<head runat="server">
    <title>Untitled Page</title>
</head>
<body>
    <form id="form1" runat="server">
        <asp:ScriptManager ID="scm" runat="server">
        </asp:ScriptManager>

        <telerik:RadTreeView ID="RadTreeView1" Runat="server" EnableDragAndDrop="true">
            <Nodes>
                <telerik:RadTreeNode runat="server" bod="guid1" text="Node 1"></telerik:RadTreeNode>
                <telerik:RadTreeNode runat="server" bod="guid2" text="Node 2"></telerik:RadTreeNode>
            </Nodes>
        </telerik:RadTreeView>

        <iframe src="http://www.google.co.uk" />
    </form>
</body>
</html>

If the IFrame is taken out, then enable dragdrop works fine.

Thanks,
Martin

I have a radgrid within a radpane. I would like to use the scrolling function with static headers. I would also like the radgrid to resize itself to fill out the radpane. I have tried setting the ScrollHeight to 100% but this doesn't work. Essentially I want the radgrid to scroll when its content exceeds the size of the radpane it is contained in whilst retaining the column headers.

Any ideas?

Probably an easy question for somebody..

from event: RadScheduler2_AppointmentCreated
I am able to use e.Container.FindControl to get at my own asp:hidden cntrls inside an AppointmentTemplate

How can I get at those cntrls inside the event:
RadScheduler2_AppointmentInsert(object sender, SchedulerCancelEventArgs e)

Nice if there were an easier way to do this but basically I am making a db trip for every appointment and filling hiddens with extra data I would like to associate with the appointment. That way on the update or insert I can do my own ins/update to the db and add in those extra items. I take it the only other way to get the functionality I want would be to write my own provider??
Please at least answer the how to get at the hidden cntrls question above if you can.

Thanks.

I had a page with come radcombos, radcalendar, and a grid.  Everything was working just fine until I set the client-side row selection of the Grid to true.  The calendar wouldn't pop up and there was a js error: Object required.

I attempted to isolate the error by creating a new test page with nothing on it but the RadScriptManager and the RadGrid.  Loaded it up with the default settings just fine.  Then I turned on the client-side row selection and I got a js error again:

Sys.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null.  Parameter name: id.

Any ideas?

Hi

In place of the standard messages at the bottom of the radgrids as shown in the examples on save / insert etc I would like to know if it is possible to display a dialog similar to the standard javascript "alert" dialog.

I would also like to be able to do this as part of an update or insert in the updatecommand and insert command events.

Thanks

Hi!

I'm using a userControl to perform updates on a selected row. But I believe that there's a problem when the userControl contains DatePickers and /or comboboxes:

The combobox appears incorrectly (appears the word "select" on the screen). I've tryed to see the online example (http://www.telerik.com/DEMOS/ASPNET/Prometheus/Grid/Examples/DataEditing/UserControlEditForm/DefaultCS.aspx) but you've used the traditional DropDownList (??)

The datepickers don't draw correctly: the textbox that holds the date is missing its right margin. (I'm using the Default2006 skin)

I could attach printscreens, but I don't know if it's possible.

Since we're about to buy the Prometheus version this month, I'm a little concerned about this issues.

Has anyone experienced this?

Got another really strange issue. I have a page that actually has several comboboxes on it. I'm using the Telerik theme on all of them. On the one at the top of the page, I can see part of the word 'Select' in the dropdown arrow image on the right side of the combobox. It's really bizzarre...it's only the one combobox displaying this behavior...the others are fine.

Here's the code

    <table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0">
        <tr>
            <td style="width:29px; padding-top:3px;"><img src="images/header_bullet.gif" alt="" style="vertical-align:bottom;" /></td>
            <td style="text-align:left;" class="titleSectionLeft">Scout Information - <asp:Label ID="scoutName" CssClass="titleSectionLeftHighlight" runat="server" /></td>
            <td style="text-align:right; white-space:nowrap; padding-right:5px; padding-top:3px;">
                <telerik:radcombobox ID="scoutNav" Width="162" Runat="server" ShowToggleImage="True" EnableEmbeddedSkins="false" Skin="scSkin" DataSourceID="scoutnavdatasource" DataValueField="scout_id" DataTextField="scout_nm" />
                <asp:SqlDataSource ID="scoutnavdatasource" runat="server" ConnectionString="<%$ConnectionStrings:LocalSqlServer %>" SelectCommand="SELECT DISTINCT [sc_scout].[scout_id], [sc_scout].[scout_fnm] + ' ' + [sc_scout].[scout_lnm] AS [scout_nm] FROM [sc_scout] ORDER BY [scout_nm] ASC" />
            </td>
            <td style="text-align:right; white-space:nowrap; padding-right:5px; padding-top:3px;" class="titleSectionRight">
                <div class="button"><asp:Label ID="save_btn" Text="Save" runat="server" /></div>
            </td>
        </tr>
    </table>

I'm using Visual Web Developer 2008 for design and the site is configured as .NET 3.5 with AJAX.

Any ideas what this might be?
