Hi,
I'm new to Telerik controls, so please excuse me if this is a silly question. I am trying to set up the RadTreeView, but I cannot find a Node.Depth property.
I am populating the treeview on demand but the data comes from different tables in the DB depending on the node depth that is selected using switch. This works fine with the standard Microsoft issue TreeView but not with the Telerik one.
If this feature is not avaiable, is there an alternative way to capture the Node depth.

Hi there,
I'm trying to find an example of refreshing a RadTreeView control when a RadWindow is closed. The closest example I have is the RadGrid and RadWindow example which uses a RadAjaxManager to rebind the RadGrid control.
I have tried to use that example and replace the RadGrid control with a RadTreeview control but it doesnt seem to work.

I have been searching the forums and kb for a way to change the appearance of appointments in Day and Week views. So far, I have seen a good bit on changing height, and read the following kb article on affecting cells (http://www.telerik.com/support/kb/article/b454K-met-b454T-cgm-b454c-cgm.aspx), but I have not quite found what I am looking for.
In all parts of the Scheduler except during the timeslots for Day and Week, appointments render up to 100% width. However, based on how many appointments appear during a given timeslot, appointment width varies. This is great except for one minor problem- it would appear that no matter how many or few appointments there are, they fill only 90% width in the timeslot. I am probably overlooking something obvious here, but can anyone give me a pointer on how to fill these timeslots without leaving that 10% blank gap to the right of the appointments?

I can't find a way of changing the size of the input field that appears when the Edit or Insert command is clicked.
I tried changing the ItemStyle-Width property, but that just changes the size of the column, not the input control in edit mode.
Does anyone know how to do this?

i have a relatively simple grid with a half dozen fields and an edit button. When the edit button is click the grid goes into edit mode as expected. When I click the update button I cannot get to the "updated" values. I have tried several ways to get to the updated data and they always return the original value.

I was woindering what testing tools other people were using. Anybody have any good suggestions for tools that will play nicely with the Telerik controls?

I have a rad Window for Ajax (formerly Prometheus) displaying onload of a pag. The page calling the window has a menu at 100% width across the page. I am encountering an issue where the menu does not display behind the window. It is almost as if the z-index of the menu is less than the window and the menu overlaps the window.
If this a flaw with the control of am I doing something wrong.

Hi
Some of our clients have low connection speeds so in some screens we're trying to reduce bandwidth as much as possible.
As an example for an AJAX request, instead of using UpdatePanels, RadAjaxManager, etc for RadCombo and RadTree we use Microsoft AJAX PageMethods in Javascript to get data then populate these controls via Javascript. We find the rich client-side features for these controls excellent for this purpose.
As an example, this way we have reduced the bandwidth on a heavy page from 100Kb up / 100Kb (sometimes more) down to about 20 bytes up / 100 bytes down.
It means more work via Javascript to manually populate these controls but we're getting impressive bandwidth speeds.
Is such a thing possible with RadGrid? Some of our grid screens are basically read-only except for reodering, resizing and sorting. It would be great if I could just use PageMethods to get the data then use Javascript to populate the RadGrid myself.
I'm guessing probably not as I couldn't find any documentation on the subject.
However it never hurts to ask ;-)
