Release

Starting with the Q1 2010 release we’ll be building against .NET 3.5 SP1. This is a new requirement and older releases are still compatible with .NET 3.5 RTM. There is no change in the requirements for the .NET 2.0 builds. Generally speaking, there is no reason why you shouldn’t install .NET 3.5 SP1 on your servers and workstations since this is the current official version of the framework. The reason for this requirement is that we’ll start shipping official .NET 4.0 builds of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX when VS 2010/.NET 4 RTM comes out. Here's a short list of what we've managed to achieve during the last 2+ months since we released JustCode in November: We’ve fixed a lot of C# / VB.NET and JavaScript "Good Code Red" issues. "Good Code Red" issues occur when errors are reported by JustCode for code that actually compiles fine. We treat these types of issues with a very high priority as it's very annoying when errors and warnings are reported throughout the solution for code that works perfectly fine. Last week we published the Telerik Reporting roadmap. Our plans for Q1 2010 (and for 2010 in general) are to give the developer a reporting tool with greater calculating power that will allow for full control over the data management and presentation.
