RadControls for WinForms Step-by-step tutorial: Updated

As you know, in the latest releases of RadControls for WinForms we introduced a bunch of new cool features and controls. We covered the improvements with documentation articles in our product documentation and we are happy to inform you that we have just finished updating our Step-by-step tutorial as well. Now it exceeds 750 pages (650 in its previous version) and together with the accompanying C#\VB.NET projects it helps you increase your knowledge of RadPropertyGrid ,  RadListView and even  RadRichTextBox which is in Beta. The tutorial is available in PDF and CHM formats and you can download it from the following page: Step-by-step Tutorial - RadControls for WinForms

Telerik RADControls for Windows Forms Webinar Sample Code and Slide Deck

For those of you that attended the What’s New for Desktop Developers in Q2 2011 Release Webinar, thank you for attending!  For those that didn’t get to attend (or for those of you that want to go back through it since it was jam packed with information), the recording worked perfectly, and I will be posting it to Telerik TV in the next 48 hours!  Several people attending the webinar asked for the source code for my project that I created to demo the features as well as the powerpoint slides, and you can get them both here (slide deck, code...

Just this week, one of the fans on our Telerik Facebook page did just that - specifically asking whether you could use a certain type of layout panel for the drag cue of RadDragAndDropManager.  Normally in a case like this, I want to say "Yeah, it's just a DataTemplate in Silverlight/WPF, so you could do almost anything there!" But we're developers, and code speaks...

Make Your Telerik WinForms-enabled Applications Start Instantly

RadControls for WinForms is a very well structured package of controls, with an excellent balance between performance and features. Still, firing up an application built with Telerik Windows Forms may take a few seconds – time that end-users prefer to get rid of, if possible. So, here is a nice trick which makes your RadControls-enabled application run instantly on the client. This solution is common for large applications such as the Open Office suite. The idea here is to load some application resources (in our case - the  whole application) when the Windows starts. When the end-user starts the application,...
