The GridView will be enhanced with Load-On-Demand support for self-referencing hierarchies, offering a more efficient way to display hierarchical data structures. This improvement allows large data sets with self-referencing relationships to be loaded incrementally, reducing the initial load time and improving overall performance.

 

The new DateOnlyPicker and TimeOnlyPicker controls are designed to support the latest .NET structures, DateOnly and TimeOnly. These controls provide a streamlined and intuitive way for users to select dates and times separately, offering better alignment with applications that need to handle either date or time exclusively.

 

The new Windows 11 High Contrast Theme is designed to improve accessibility and ensure a more inclusive user experience. This theme provides enhanced visibility for users with visual impairments or those who prefer high-contrast interfaces. By offering a clear distinction between UI elements and background, it makes navigating and interacting with applications more intuitive and comfortable.

 

You may already be aware that Microsoft discontinued .NET 7 support in May 2024. We would like to inform you that our plans are in line with this decision, and we will be ending our .NET 7 support for UI for WinForms in November. This will give you extra time to transition from .NET 7 to .NET 8.

We are dedicated to enhancing the accessibility of our WinForms components. As part of this commitment, we are introducing improvements by utilizing UI Automation (UIA). This feature will ensure that our WinForms controls are more accessible to users with disabilities, providing a better user experience and complying with accessibility standards.

 

 

We are pleased to introduce a new feature for GridView: the Select Column. This addition will allow users to easily select and manipulate rows within a GridView, enhancing data management tasks' functionality and user experience.

We are excited to announce an upcoming feature for the GridView component - Merge Cells functionality. This feature will enable users to merge adjacent cells within a GridView, allowing for a more flexible and visually appealing data presentation.
