We will simplify package management by publishing Telerik UI for WinForms NuGet packages to NuGet.org and making project templates available through the NuGet ecosystem. This will streamline initial setup, improve package discovery, and simplify dependency resolution. As part of this effort, the framework-specific AllControls packages will be succeeded by the single multi-target Telerik.UI.for.WinForms.AllControls package, making it easier to manage applications targeting different .NET versions.

 

We plan on adding smarter ways to interact with the DataGrid. This will allow performing actions like sorting, filtering, and grouping through intuitive prompts and commands, making data manipulation faster and more natural than ever before. 

 

We will enhance the Spreadsheet component with AI-powered querying capabilities that will enable users to interact with data using natural language. This will simplify data exploration and allow users to generate insights without relying on complex formulas or manual analysis. 

 

Building on the new Telerik CLI, we will introduce a streamlined CLI-based onboarding experience for the WinForms suite. Developers will be able to quickly set up projects, configure environments, and handle initial setup steps such as licensing. This will significantly reduce startup time and enable a smoother path to first value. 

 

We will continue our efforts on UI Automation and extend support for multiple controls, such as RichTextEditor, ListView, CheckedListBox and more. This will improve accessibility compliance and enable better integration with assistive technologies. It will also enhance automated testing capabilities. 

Deliver crisp, pixel-perfect rendering on high-resolution displays. We will deep dive into the HDPI topic and provide improvements to ensure Telerik UI for WinForms components scale beautifully across modern monitors, enhancing usability and visual appeal. 

 

This year we will also be adding a SmartPaste button to our WinForms UI suite that enables intelligent data entry by mapping unstructured content - such as emails, documents, or external data sources - into structured UI fields. This will reduce repetitive manual input and minimize errors during data entry.
