    Formatting content with RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX just became easier

    One of the new features coming up in Q1 2012 for the RadEditor control is a new drop-down tool called "Format sets". We hope that this new editor command will make styling your content faster and easier.     A better way to view images in RadFileExplorer for ASP.NET AJAX – thumbnail view comes in Q1 2012

    Starting with the Q1 2012 release, the RadFileExplorer gets a new display mode - thumbnails. In this mode the grid with folder and file details is replaced with a listview, which shows the current folder in a display similar to the Windows File Explorer's medium icons view. The best scenario for this new display mode is when you want to display thumbnails of image files - these will be shown instead of the default image file icon we have in the control.     New Sample Application for ASP.NET AJAX - Telerik Store

    As a follow up to the webinar hosted by our colleague Carl Bergenhem "Build an E-Commerce ASP.NET AJAX Application", we decided to pick up from where he left the example and extend it to a fully working application incorporating RadControls and the EBay's OData feed. We loved the idea of a MetroUI based layout and introduced the new Metro Skin for RadControls, which fit the initial design with almost no customizations.

    Insert YouTube and Vimeo videos with RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX

    Starting from Q3 2011, the RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX gets a new dialog - Insert External Video, which provides the ability to easily embed a YouTube or a Vimeo stream providing just the URL. Steps to insert a video: Open the  Insert External Video dialog and paste the copied video link into the Paste Youtube or Vimeo video URL textbox, e.g.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWv11JDPy24 To preview the video and enable the Embed video settings panel click outside of the textbox after you paste the URL.
