    Telerik AppBuilder October Release: iOS 8 Support, Device Simulator Improvements and Build Configurations

    This month we are happy to announce another great Telerik AppBuilder release! This release has a laser focus on developer productivity. We are adding features such as build configuration support for your JavaScript and Cordova plugin variables, updates to iOS 8 support, and the first in a series of updates to our popular device simulators.

    iOS 8 Support in Telerik Platform

    While it's fun to see the latest mobile gadgets that come tumbling out of Cupertino, the core of Apple's mobile strategy revolves around iOS - and of course Telerik is there to support the latest and greatest on day one. With iOS 8 (and the Apple Watch), Apple continues to produce innovative mobile hardware and push the envelope with what can be done with their platform. While not a dramatic change from a UI perspective, iOS 8 brings with it amazing opportunities for hybrid mobile developers and a host of new features for us to tap into. The question today is, what does this mean to AppBuilder and the Telerik Platform?

    Telerik AppBuilder September Release: Xcode iOS Simulator Access, Verified Plugins Marketplace Integration and More

    We have another exciting AppBuilder release to share: this time we are focusing on rounding out our native emulator story with access to the Xcode iOS Simulator (yes, even from Windows!), full integration with our new Verified Plugins Marketplace, Cordova plugin variable management, and numerous productivity enhancements.

    Telerik AppBuilder Hotfix for Cordova 3.5 on Android

    A variety of security issues were found in the latest Cordova bits for Android. Version 3.5.1 was recently released which fixes these bugs - and is included in AppBuilder as well. Please note that this new version only affects Android apps (iOS and Windows Phone 8 app are not impacted by this release).

    Telerik AppManager September Release: Windows Phone Support, iOS Provisioning Improvements, and Full Product Access
