I am writing my first app for the Windows 8 store and it turns out the standard set of UI controls in Visual Studio is lacking a few things. Among the more obvious are a date and time picker which are staples in many apps. Thank goodness for Telerik UI! Their pickers look professional and like they were built native to the Win 8 platform. I also love the gauges which are a flashy way of showing progress or status without making the user read data manually. I look forward to being able to use more Telerik components now that I know the quality I can expect from Telerik.
We've been looking a while for a product that would help us manage our development process. We've evaluated commercial and free solutions and finally decided to go for TeamPulse. TeamPulse is a very promising software for any team willing to implement a scrum or agile process without compromising the user's comfort, thanks to its very user-friendly interface. Great product!
We have been using TeamPulse for 6 months now. Our team has been loving it! I don't know how I ever accomplished work without it. We now know everything that our team is working on and what the status is. I have never had such a clear picture of what's going in a project before. I can't wait to upgrade to the newest release of TeamPulse! Telerik thank you so much for making such a great product and listening so closely to your customer!
Recently I downloaded Test Studio. Coming from a development background, I know how important is it to completely test any application before delivering it to the client. I was really amazed at the robustness of Test Studio. I can perform Functional, Performance, Load, etc. in one product. Earlier we were focusing on many products out there for each type of testing, however now its just one package .. Just Love it ..
Test Studio has allowed us to perform more precise regression tests and has significantly reduced the amount of time it takes our team to go through updates and new releases.
Test Studio has turned every QA member on my team into effective automation tester. They are excited about all the hours of manual testing saved. The higher-ups are enjoying the cost savings in man hours as well as being able to complete regressions in one-sixth the time.
I am a Windows Phone developer and I just started using Telerik UI for Windows Phone... all I can say is WOW. My app's page transitions are so nice and unique with Telerik's controls, that I believe it is one of the reasons I am in the top 4% of the Marketplace. I highly recommend you use these controls, they are crisp and fresh like a garden salad!
One of the best products we ever used!! Our development time reduces to the 50%!!
Using the Telerik Data Access I've speed up my development by 30%. Well done Telerik!
We could reduce our development time to 60% by using Telerik and it is very easy to use. Multiple browser support is also very interesting feature.
Our company used Telerik UI for Silverlight last year. We were able to speed up the development of our product by 40%. Moreover, we have saved on developing the necessary components thereby reducing the cost of our product. Our developers have noted that the use of Telerik components significantly reduces the development time with about 60%. The time we saved was spent on the implementation of the ideas and the writing business logic, rather than the solution of infrastructure problems. Our company plans to continue using the Telerik UI for Silverlight.
Using Telerik UI, we were able to boost our speed to production by over 50%. The ability to create rich, interactive UI's without the hassle of rolling our own controls has been incredibly valuable. It should also be noted that Telerik's online documentation is rich with examples, tutorials, and real-working demos. When using competing products, I found their example's to be demo-ware, and not as easily converted to actual production-ready solutions.
The time spent building web pages for my web project was cut by 50% using Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX. The return on investment was way higher than the cost of the ASP.NET suite itself. I've been in the IT business for more than 17 years, and Telerik offers the best customer support.
I'm a web developer creating LOB applications using ASP.NET, Silverlight and HTML5/JS. I have been working with Telerik for over 4 years, and I kid you not when I say that I absolutely wouldn't want to be a programmer any more if I didn't have Telerik controls! This is coming from someone who eats, sleeps and dreams code; it's really an obsession. My apps are comprised of approx. 99% Telerik components, with only a few standard web controls (e.g. labels, hyperlinks, etc.) to glue them together. I primarily use their AJAX control set, which provides practically every feature one could ever desire for enterprise applications, from charts, graphs and gauges, to slick, industry-standard navigation and appearances for a UX that is sure to please. And, products like DataAccess have saved me nearly 80% in development time for connecting my apps to my SQL back end. It's literally a drag and drop interface that replaces classes, usually containing thousands of lines of code, with a few simple methods for querying. Add a little LINQ and you've got lazily-executed, screaming fast and unbelievably simple connectivity. I was a bit late to the game with this technology, because I didn't understand how useful it could be. But, take my word for it: no matter what back end you're using, you simply MUST use Data Access to communicate with it! Also, Telerik's support is first rate; always prompt; always thorough; always willing to go the extra mile. Their responses typically contain code and even project files that will immediately get you back on track. I have run across very few incidents (probably 2 out of 100) where the problem could not be immediately resolved, and even then they do their best to offer a hack to get the job done. Thanks to Telerik's extremely extensive online demos and documentation, I've saved weeks of time in learning, not to mention that nothing sparks creativity like the inspiration of seeing literally every feature possible with every single control. On the contrary, look around at other control manufacturers (I've purchased controls from a few in the past); while they do their best to create similar controls, they are generally lacking in functionality, speed and support. Practically speaking, if you even consider taking on more than one technology, it only makes sense to save a TON of money by going with the DevCraft Complete or Ultimate suites. Plus, unlimited technical support issues with a 24-hour guaranteed response time means you're never alone with a problem. And, with DevCraft Ultimate, you receive phone support and ticket pre-screening, to ensure that they have enough to handle the ticket the first time for faster resolution. Thanks a million to Telerik's development and support teams. I love programming because they exist, and life wouldn't be the same without them!
I am a software engineer, and I believe Telerik is the best for software applications where you can deliver the products with quality and good looking. It makes our life easier.
Most any project will get their return on investment with the Telerik suite within a week to a month. It is worth its weight in gold, because of the saved time and extra "pop" that you can give your clients.
Telerik has rich collection of components that enables developers to build fully functional and great looking web applications in a matter of days, which used to be weeks and months without Telerik. On top of that, an aggressive release cycle and very responsive support makes it one of the best investments we've made.
Telerik DevCraft Complete has accelerated our development agenda considerably, allowing us to bring our products to market faster and with less expense.
You can reinvent the wheel, worry about why there's so much missing in basic controls or use Telerik DevCraft suite. All truly innovative and successful companies I've been at use Telerik, and for the price you pay it's even affordable for my small home business. Not to mention awesome support who really help you and are open to ideas. Telerik should simply put be the first step in any serious application development!
