New Control: FileManager

A personal favorite of the team due to the number of times it has been requested, the Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core FileManager lets users browse through directories and files, akin to file managers like Windows Explorer, and manage file storage within their web applications. This control is a complete package—enjoy sorting and filtering based on file metadata, drag and drop support, full control over the data source. 

New Control: Breadcrumb

The Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core Breadcrumb indicates the current position in your application. If your app or website are complex in structure (which they probably are), you will help your users greatly if you add one to make navigation easier. 

New Control: Badge

The Badge component for Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core enables you to easily show statuses, notifications and short messages in your app and provide some additional contextual information to something on the page. You can also add the Badge component to any existing ASP.NET Core components. 

Column Virtualization for the Grid Component

Column virtualization allows you to vastly increase the number of columns a Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core Grid component can display without sacrificing performance. 

Spread Processing for ASP.NET Core

Telerik Document Processing joined our ASP.NET Core suite in our previous release. This time around we are enhancing the library by adding Spread Processing. This functionality enables your apps to easily import and export files to and from the most common spreadsheet file formats including:

• Excel Microsoft Office Open XML Spreadsheet (.XLSX)
• Comma separated values (.CSV)
• Tab separated values (.TXT)
• Portable document format (.PDF) (export only)

Enhancement to the Checkbox control

One infamous issue modern HTML suffered from until recently was that browsers did not support styling checkboxes. Some time ago this changed and so did our Checkbox component. Now your application can display a truly styled checkbox. Toggle any option with style!  

Enhancements to the Radio Button control

The Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core RadioButton component allows you to have a single selection from a range of mutually exclusive options. The component comes with seamlessly integrated Telerik themes eliminating the need for iterations. 

Enhancements to Tree List Component

Searching in the Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core TreeList component is now possible and saves users the time needed to scroll their options in the list. 

Enhancements to Editor Component

Merge Table Tool  

As of R1 2020, the Editor component for ASP.NET Core exposes the Merge Table Tool, untying your hands to perform complex operations with the tables in the component. 

Table Headers  

The Telerik UI forASP.NET Core Editor component now provides the user with the possibility to configure the number of headers and the way and the header cells are associated with the data cells in its Table component. 

FormatPainter Tool  

The FormatPainter tool allows you to easily copy the formatting from a piece of text, and apply it to other content areas. 

Enhancements to Filter Component

Enhancements to Scheduler Component for ASP.NET Core

The height of each event and each slot in the Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core scheduler now changes dynamically to accommodate all scheduled items in any given space.
