    PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this screen ruler control is to help designer to draw an golden ratio rectangle easier. As you mouse over the ruler, an double color line will show up. The dark golden line is current reading divide 1.618. The lighter golden line indicate current reading multiple 1.618.

This project is inspired by my boss James Simpson, who suddenly decide we need to make all our controls, forms, buttons conform to golden ratio rule. It is good for users but it gave us a lot of extra work. We need to measure, calculate, measure based on calculation result and change UI. Then repeat this process again and again. After a few cycles, I decided to develop this ruler and my teammates like it. We think there could be other guys also in the this golden ratio design rule and share this control could help.A useful link for golden ratio design http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/golden-ratio-in-moden-designs/

You may need to add some references manually because I can only upload a 2MB attachment and the referenced dlls are much bigger.  Let me know if you have any  question about it.

Thanks Petar! Removing unused references is one of the best practices I missed:)  Nice one.

    Cheers
