The timeline control is one of the controls in our to-do list for 2015-2016.
Would you mind to answer the following questions which will help us to better prioritize the component in our list of new controls:
- In what type of apps do you plan to use the timeline control?
- Which are the main scenarios you have to cover with this component?
- Which are the must have features that you would like to see in its first version?
Please, also add your vote in the this feedback item on the subject.

I would also like to see this feature.
I have been trying to get the Cody House timeline (http://codyhouse.co/demo/vertical-timeline/index.html) to work in Sitefinity and the jquery seems to break the CMS. The widgets on the right can not be pulled, the top buttons in the backend disappear and the page is not functional.
Any ideas how I can get this timeline to work? At least until you release a Sitefinity integrated control.
Thanks for the help and info.
John
In order to get a better picture of the problem I will need a bit more detailed information about the issue. I would advise to submit a Sitefinity ticket where you can provide us with temporary backend access to your website. Using this approach we can inspect the issue in details directly on your environment.

Hi,
it's so bad the ticket has avorted.
we don't get this feature on telerik.
This feature request is still pending to be estimated by the dev team. Any further details (when such are available) will be posted in the item.

I resume this old post.
Is this feature still under consideration or has been discarded?
Thanks.
The idea for a timeline controls is not discarded, but since the feature request is not popular and there is not enough demand for it, it is not part of our plans for the near future.
Would you please be so kind and explain your scenario and how do you imagine the control in the feedback item - AJAX Timeline like WPF Timeline Visualize sequences of events in a user friendly manner?

Hi,
I can not image a big company like telerik to not have this important component (timeline) in his web products.

Thank you for your feedback!
Actually, you can implement a timeline with Kendo UI by following the instructions in this Telerik Blog post: Building An Interactive Timeline With Kendo UI.
On a side note, this is a popular feature request not only for Telerik ASP.NET AJAX UI framework, but also for Kendo UI. That's why please add your vote also for implementation for Kendo at https://feedback.telerik.com/kendo-jquery-ui/1357937-add-a-timeline-visualization-widget-for-displaying-events-and-data-points-on-a-timeline since this will raise the priority in the AJAX backlog too.

in Timeline view you can display a variable number of slots and even define the duration of those slots.
look at this image and you can find documentation about timeline view docs.telerik.com
Thanks
Thank you for sharing the Timeline view of RadScheduler.
Yes, it works for some users, but others want a vertical timeline component as the facebook's one - https://images.pcworld.com/images/article/2012/01/timeline2-10910676.jpg and the one in the blog post https://www.telerik.com/blogs/brief-history-kendo-ui. That is the request for.
