Using the VB sample. I Attempted to add new item Telerik report to the project. One or more error was encoutered while loading the designer. I've notice that the code behind is using the C# namespace/endspace. I believe this is incorrect. Are there any code changes required that we need to know about. Thank

This is a repeat from the bottom of another thread, i just felt like i was hijacking it a bit, and that it deserved its' own thread..
i feel that likely i am going to smack myself "upside-da-head" for asking, but how do you implement aggregate fields in a report? In MS ReportView, you can can drag an attribute to the page footer and it just knows to setup the Sum(..). I have not been able to find an example of how to do it with beta1.. cheers, drew..

It is our pleasure to announce the availability of Beta 1 of telerik Reporting. Based on the feedback we got from the CTP versions, we managed to improve the product and enhance its feature set.
Here is a list of the more important changes we have done in Beta 1:

Does this reporting tool allow you to use recurse through data. In SQL Reporting Services you can create a report and pass it some IDs and it will recurse through your data and do the sums for each part. Would you say this reporting tool would at least equal what SQL Reporting Services can do?

What is the status of this? I am testing the vb demo solution and no images are printing, say in the business card report or the simple report, and likely all the others. I exported to pdf and simply get the "No Image Available" moniker..

A simple adjustment to the vb demo solution can help novice coders with getting starting testing the new beta: remove the absolute reference to the ReportLibrary.dll in the web bin, replace it with a project reference. Then rename the output assembly to simply ReportLibrary.dll instead of VB.ReportLibrary.dll to match the original intent. This will allow us to tinker with the demo reports, compile and see the end results immediately in the demo solution.. Cheers, drew..

Hi
I started at 06:00 this AM, downloaded and installed the latest Reporting CTP2. I have spent 5 hours on it today in the hope that this would allow us to replace our old reporting method with this new exciting professional one.
But I have to give up. Took me 3 hours to just get the designer up in C# demo.
This could be a great new revenue stream and product line for Telerik and would love to use it.
So step one - if you could - please show me how to get a project up in VB - and if possible DNN 4.40 . Then we could get going!

After installing the BETA, I select the examples. They load just fine, however I get an "A project with an Output Type of Class Library cannot be started directly". You need to change the startup to the webdemo vs. the class lib in the downloadable files.
Second, you really need better examples to show this product off if you are attempting to compete with Crystal Reports. Maybe I was hoping for more.
